Translate product innovation and customer insights into compelling narratives to drive adoption and satisfaction, while collaborating cross-functionally to optimize messaging and initiatives. | Extensive experience in consumer insights, product research, and innovation leadership, with strong strategic and communication skills, but limited direct retail media or SaaS product marketing experience. | Reports to: VP of Marketing Location: Remote As retail media networks grow, expectations rise: more coordination, more accountability, more measurable impact. The platforms that win aren’t just feature-rich—they’re trusted, widely adopted, and relied on every day. At Vantage, our Marketing North Star is to turn attention into advocacy. We don’t just want retailers to know us or buy from us. We want them to adopt deeply, see measurable growth in their ecosystems, and advocate for us publicly. We’re hiring a Product & Customer Marketing Manager to help make that happen. In this role, you’ll translate positioning and product innovation into clear, compelling value stories that drive measurable adoption. You’ll turn roadmap updates into market-facing narratives, identify opportunities to increase product adoption and satisfaction, and elevate our strongest customers into visible champions. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who operates with ownership—taking strategic direction, building the plan, and moving it forward independently while maintaining a high bar for clarity and craft. Key Responsibilities Translate product innovation and roadmap updates into clear, outcome-driven value stories that drive measurable adoption. Turn real customer experiences and usage patterns into compelling proof that strengthens Vantage’s broader market narrative. Identify adoption gaps and proactively recommend initiatives that increase product usage and customer satisfaction. Develop executive-ready customer narratives, case studies, and advocacy stories grounded in measurable impact. Shape messaging and materials that help retailers communicate value internally and grow their supplier ecosystems. Partner closely with Product, Sales, and Account teams to align messaging with real-world customer usage and value. Collaborate with Comms to ensure customer proof reinforces the market-facing narrative and thought leadership. Partner with Digital Marketing to activate and distribute customer stories across web and campaign channels. Shape product and customer value narratives for Retail Advisory Council engagements, and translate insights into messaging refinements, adoption initiatives, and advocacy opportunities. Continuously surface patterns across customer feedback and market signals, recommending initiatives that accelerate adoption and advocacy. Qualifications 5–8+ years of experience in product marketing, customer marketing, or related roles within retail media or enterprise SaaS. Strong understanding of retail media networks, supplier ecosystems, and enterprise retail buying cycles. Demonstrated ability to translate complex product capabilities into clear, persuasive value narratives. Proven track record of driving product adoption and customer engagement initiatives. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a high craft bar across presentations and content. Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Customer teams. Ability to operate independently, taking strategic direction, building execution plans, and delivering without heavy oversight. Intellectual curiosity, pattern recognition, and the confidence to challenge assumptions thoughtfully. About Vantage Vantage is the first unified platform purpose-built for retail media orchestration, empowering enterprise retailers to seamlessly activate onsite, offsite, and in-store advertising. With a global presence in North America and Asia-Pacific, Vantage enables retailers to launch and grow their media networks through scalable technology and automated workflows, and is trusted by leading retailers like The Home Depot to power their retail media programs. We encourage all individuals to apply for positions that fit their passions. We promote equality and strive to provide all current and prospective employees with support and opportunities. Reasonable accommodations are available to job applicants on request and throughout the application process. How Vantage Uses AI in the Recruitment Process Vantage makes use of several AI-enabled tools that aid us in the hiring process. These tools exclusively take the form of AI meeting notetakers, and the AI assistant in our Applicant Tracking System, Ashby. They allow us to record, organize and summarize the various details and data points we collect during the hiring process, without losing the context in which they were originally provided. Neither the AI meeting notetakers nor Ashby's AI assistant make decisions about your candidate status. All hiring decisions at Vantage are made by a team of collaborative, hard-working, human beings. We might use AI to speed up your process and to help keep it organized, but ultimately who we invite to work at Vantage is a decision we only trust ourselves to make. What's Next? We thank all applicants in advance for their interest in this position, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted. As part of the final stages of our hiring process, all candidates will be required to successfully complete a criminal background check.
