To effectively manage this project and organize data within Fabric, the ideal candidate should be proficient in SQL and Python as well as dbt. They should also be comfortable with data management, cloud services, and automation tools. Role responsibilities Architecture & Strategy Design and own the end‑to‑end medallion data architecture within Microsoft Fabric, including Bronze/Silver/Gold standards, modeling patterns, and governance frameworks. Define and drive architectural standards, patterns, and best practices across ingestion, transformation, data modeling, lineage, quality, and orchestration. Partner as a peer with the Director of Data & Analytics to shape long-term platform strategy, roadmap, and technical decision-making. Anticipate downstream implications of architectural choices, proactively guiding decisions that ensure long-term reliability, scalability, and maintainability. Data Engineering Leadership Architect and build highly available, distributed, fault‑tolerant data pipelines supporting batch and real‑time workloads. Lead the migration and integration of multiple disparate data sources into the new Fabric-based enterprise platform. Define data modeling approaches for enterprise‑scale structured, semi‑structured, and unstructured datasets. Establish end‑to‑end standards for ingestion → processing → serving layers. Tune and optimize distributed processing across large datasets and high-volume pipelines. Technical Execution & Hands-on Work Develop complex transformations and scalable pipelines using SQL, Python, dbt, and Fabric-native tools. Implement automation across the Fabric ecosystem leveraging REST APIs, Data Factory, pipelines, and workflow orchestration. Guide and mentor engineering teams on advanced data architecture concepts, distributed systems, metadata management, and platform hygiene. Conduct root cause analysis on platform issues, driving permanent solutions rather than short-term fixes. Collaboration & Influence Act as a senior technical authority in design reviews, architectural discussions, and cross‑functional planning. Collaborate with analytics, product, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into architectural solutions. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Must have qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or platform engineering. Experience building or migrating enterprise data platforms on Microsoft Fabric. Deep expertise with SQL, Python, and distributed data processing. Significant experience designing enterprise data architectures and medallion/lakehouse patterns. Strong knowledge of modern data platforms — Databricks, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Delta Lake, or similar. Hands-on experience with cloud-native data engineering (Fabric preferred). Expertise building and optimizing large‑scale ETL/ELT pipelines across raw → refined → curated zones. Experience with automation and integration using REST APIs. Strong analytical thinking, system design skills, and the ability to foresee downstream technical consequences. Excellent communication skills and ability to engage as a peer with senior leadership. Upper-Intermediate English skills Nice to have qualifications Deep expertise with dbt Familiarity with visualization/reporting tools such as Tableau and PowerBI. Proficiency scripting in UNIX environment Proficiency in big data environments and tools such as Spark, Hive, Impala, Pig, etc. Proficiency with cloud architecture components (AWS, Azure, Google) Proficiency with data pipeline software such as Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or Prefect Familiarity with front and back-end web application stacks and frameworks (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React/Vue/AngularJS) and API design and usage (REST/GraphQL) Experience leading and managing technical data/analytics/machine learning projects If you do not meet all the listed qualifications or have gaps in your experience, we still encourage you to apply. This role involves hands-on analysis, implementation guidance, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure organic search strategies align with evolving search landscapes, business goals, and digital experience standards. The ideal candidate has deep experience in content strategy, technical SEO, log file analysis, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and multilingual/multi-market environments, alongside a solid understanding of how AI-powered search experiences (e.g. generative search, RAG-based systems, and fan-out queries) are reshaping organic discovery. You will work closely with development, content, UX, analytics, and product teams to research, prioritize, and execute SEO improvements that drive measurable performance impact. Role responsibilities Conduct in-depth SEO audits (technical, on-page, off-page), identifying issues and opportunities across large-scale, enterprise websites. Analyze and interpret log files to assess crawl behavior, indexation efficiency, and technical bottlenecks, and translate findings into clear recommendations. Guide and validate the implementation of SEO best practices, including structured data (JSON-LD), hreflang, crawl optimization, rendering logic, and internal linking strategies. Collaborate with development teams to resolve technical SEO issues, including page speed optimization, Core Web Vitals, JavaScript rendering, and performance trade-offs. Analyze SEO performance using tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio, turning data into actionable insights and clear narratives for stakeholders. Contribute to keyword research, search intent analysis, and content optimization strategies, grounded in qualitative and quantitative research. Stay current on search engine algorithm updates, AI-driven search developments, competitive movements, and emerging technical trends, adapting strategies accordingly. Support site migrations, redesigns, and localization efforts from an SEO perspective, ensuring performance is protected and enhanced. Produce clear documentation, reports, and presentations that communicate SEO insights, recommendations, and impact to both technical and non-technical audiences. Advocate for SEO best practices by ensuring organic search considerations are integrated into product, content, and digital roadmap discussions. Must have qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field. 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience, including strong exposure to technical SEO in enterprise or large-scale environments. Proven experience conducting technical audits and log file analysis to diagnose crawl, indexation, and rendering issues. Strong proficiency with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Botify, or Oncrawl. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to effectively communicate technical requirements to developers. Experience working with CMS platforms such as Optimizely or Adobe Experience Manager. Comfortable operating in multilingual and multi-regional SEO contexts, including hreflang, localization, and content targeting. Solid understanding of GA4, Google Search Console, and data visualization platforms such as Looker Studio. Strong research skills, with the ability to synthesize data, industry trends, and experimentation into clear strategic direction. Strong presentation and reporting skills, capable of explaining complex SEO topics to a range of stakeholders. Nice to have qualifications Fundamental understanding of AI-powered search experiences, including generative search, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and fan-out query models, and their implications for SEO. Experience working with websites in regulated industries (e.g. healthcare, finance). Familiarity with Digital Experience Platforms (DXPs) and their impact on SEO scalability and governance. Understanding of consent management platforms and how SEO tools interact with privacy and compliance layers (e.g. cookie banners). Exposure to server-side SEO setups and advanced performance optimization techniques (e.g. edge caching, lazy loading).
