The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of managed care, and medical and mental health terminology. This role is crucial in ensuring that our healthcare providers meet all necessary qualifications and compliance requirements, thereby contributing to the overall quality of care provided to our patients. Responsibilities • Manage the credentialing process for healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards. • Review and verify provider applications, licenses, certifications, and other relevant documents. • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate provider databases and ensure timely updates. • Conduct regular audits of credentialing files. • Serve as a resource for staff regarding credentialing policies, procedures, and best practices. • Develop and implement training programs for staff involved in the credentialing process. • Stay current with changes in regulations affecting credentialing processes within managed care environments. Experience • At least 5 years of Proven experience in a medical office setting with a strong understanding of medical terminology. • At least 5 years of experience managing or overseeing credentialing processes is highly desirable. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
