Responsibilities: • What You'll Do • V2X is seeking a Competitive Intelligence Intern to support the gathering, analysis, and interpretation of market and competitor data to drive strategic decision-making. This role will assist in monitoring industry trends, researching competitor activities, and compiling insights that inform business development, product strategy, and market positioning. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the intern will help synthesize complex data into clear, actionable reports and presentations for key stakeholders. • The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and detail-oriented student or recent graduate with a strong interest in competitive intelligence, market research, and data analysis. They should be a self-starter eager to learn intelligence-gathering tools and methodologies, track industry trends, and contribute to strategic recommendations. Key Responsibilities: • * Reviews and analyzes RFPs; develops complete Management and/or Technical volume responses; outlines and organizes the proposal approach for delivering a winning response. • Writes complete management proposals, coordinating, as necessary, with business units, operational program personnel, and other departments. • Makes recommendations on how to best respond to the RFP to meet or exceed the customer's requirements, within company guidelines and the competitive environment. • Reviews and analyzes management sections received from operating units and develops standardized sections for all RFPs. • Develops themes, discriminators, differentiators, and key success factors based on the Capture Plan. • Develops proposal features, benefits, graphics, and proof points. • Manages and integrates writer work products, ensuring proposal compliance and uniformity. • Interviews program managers and technical experts and develops proposal narratives. • Resolves issues between originating authors or team members, using a collaborative approach. • Writes, edits, and rewrites management sections (such as Quality, Recruiting, Safety, etc.). • Monitors and ensures on-time delivery of information from business units and other departments. • Directs the development of appropriate graphics, such as illustrations, charts, and tables. • Oversees the preparation, review cycle, editing, and maintenance of technical documentation within the technical writing function. • Develops document outlines and drafts to meet customer and contract specifications. • Collects and organizes input material for documentation. • Checks technical content, ensuring compliance with customer requirements. • Establishes, coordinates, and maintains documentation schedules. • Coordinates proposal support for technical documentation input and review. • Ensures approved changes are incorporated into the final document and tracks changes. • Ensures all documentation is complete and in the proper format prior to delivery to the customer. • Establishes and maintains policies for documentation preparation, review, and maintenance. • Reviews and analyzes document changes. • Provides project planning support to assigned managers. • Related Tasks: Takes daily direction and guidance from Proposal Managers on assigned bids. • Submits copy to Proposal Manager on a regular basis and makes edits, as required, to respond to RFP requirements. • Handles technical documentation deliverables, including preparation, review cycle, editing, and maintenance within the technical writing function. • Performs other duties as required.
