Life Takes You Places! Are you ready to join us? The starting base salary range for a VP-Strategic Growth & Market Enablement is $175,000 to $250,000. Actual salaries will vary by geographic location and are based on factors such as candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, competencies, and company tenure & equity. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance and individual performance. VP-Strategic Growth & Market Enablement Overview The Vice President of Strategic Growth & Market Enablement will serve as a critical connector and driver across all market-facing growth functions. This leader will own go-to-market strategy, proposal excellence, competitive intelligence, and select business development initiatives, enabling the EVP to focus on enterprise strategy and strategic partnerships. This critical role requires both a strategic thinker and hands-on operator who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can translate strategy into execution that advances the company’s growth agenda. Essential Duties: Team Leadership: • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team across strategy, business development, proposal management, market research, and GTM execution • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement Market Intelligence: • Lead competitive and market intelligence efforts, including scanning, analysis, and synthesis • Translate intelligence into actionable insights that shape positioning and growth strategies • Develop executive-ready profiles, reports, and briefings to track competitor moves and industry trends Business Development Support: • Research and evaluate prospective Blue Plan and national partnership opportunities • Craft compelling positioning and tailored value narratives for new business pursuits • Collaborate with the EVP of Strategy & Business Development on high-priority initiatives Proposal Management: • Oversee the proposal/RFP function to ensure timely, high-quality, and persuasive submissions • Establish and enforce repeatable processes, templates, and best practices • Partner cross-functionally to refine win themes and ensure aligned messaging Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution: • Translate corporate strategy into clear, partner and broker-facing messaging • Drive coordination and alignment across marketing, sales, product, and underwriting to ensure consistent execution • Lead cross-functional delivery of campaigns, product launches, and sales enablement initiatives Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Proven ability to drive strategic initiatives from concept through execution with measurable results • Strong understanding of the big picture and internal and external factors can impact the success of the organization • Ability to apply advanced critical thinking to solve highly complex challenges that may impact the organization • Demonstrated leadership success in building and managing cross-functional teams, lead by example, promote a culture of integrity, innovation, and accountability and ensures compliance with policies, regulations, and ethical standards • Exceptional executive-level communication, storytelling, and executive presence as well as interpersonal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Required Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree, or related experience • 10-12 years’ experience with 3-5 years’ experience as a Director or higher • 15+ years of progressive experience in strategy, growth, or market enablement roles, ideally with P&L accountability, marketing experience, and growth pipeline development Preferred Education and Experience: • MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred • 3-5 years’ of experience leading managers or multiple teams Please note: This position does not offer visa sponsorship. Sales Operations Administrator II Overview The Sales Ops Administrator II fosters positive relationships with Sales Staff, Regence Reps and their teams, staff, and brokers by providing excellent operational support. This position coordinates all levels of support including managing sales operations duties, RFP process, communications, administration, reporting and system support. The position also provides administrative support for sales activities and follows sales and enrollment through the entire process start to finish. Essential Duties: • Extracts and validates data for accuracy to prepare block of business reports to support sales strategies and decision-making, particularly pre-RFP planning • Coordinates and assists in managing the RFP process including validating RFP's for accuracy, ensuring prompt submission and following up as needed to keep the process moving • Acts as the liaison between Regence Reps, brokers and their staff including ownership of relationships with sales support personnel at key brokerages • Assistants in the organization of lunch-and-learns, Continuing Education (CE) classes, and Regence events that the business supports and participates in • Files CE classes with state insurance departments to ensure all necessary documentation and compliance are handled accurately and seamlessly • Assists with the set up and maintenance of the SLD category in Salesforce • Provides operational and sales support by preparing marketing materials and coordinating the production of necessary documents • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Ability to work independently, manage priorities and workflow • Strong customer service skills with the ability and comfort level to communicate verbally with internal and external parties • Strong detail orientation and organization skills • Strong problem solving and analytical skills • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Intermediate MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills • Ability to handle confidential and time-sensitive information • Ability to work in office as needed Required Education and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience • 2 years of relevant experience • Or, equivalent military experience Preferred Education and Experience • Insurance industry experience preferred #USAL1 Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
