SUMMARY USA for UNHCR (U4U) is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA) with experience in process mapping, user experience design and analytical thinking to join the Business Systems Team. This role is highly executional and is responsible for understanding business needs and supporting solution design across U4U’s integrated fundraising technology ecosystem to support U4U’s mission to protect and support refugees by mobilizing resources, elevating awareness, and driving action through a network of engaged supporters. The BA is a newly created role that will work as part of an Agile team and will be essential to the continued pursuit of operational excellence, innovation, and delivery of goals within USA for UNHCR’s 3-year Strategic Plan. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Salesforce and Systems Administration, the BA will act as liaison between business and technical teams to translate needs into actionable requirements, streamline processes, and ensure Salesforce and other system enhancements are appropriately scoped and delivered. Working with CRM Admins, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Fundraising and Finance stakeholders, the BA reduces friction between teams, accelerates implementation, and improves the reliability and effectiveness of U4U’s fundraising technology ecosystem. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Business Process Mapping Create business process documents and workflow diagrams Communicate with stakeholders to understand their processes and requirements Identify gaps and opportunities for process improvement and translate findings into documented recommendations Support the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications for integrated workflows across Salesforce, Data Warehouse and connected platforms following established solution direction Requirements Gathering and Documentation Independently facilitate in gathering requirements using stakeholder meetings, business process descriptions, use cases, and requirements workshops Act as a primary coordination partner between fundraising teams, system administrators, and vendors to ensure shared understanding of requirements and dependencies Clarify ambiguous or incomplete requirements directly with stakeholders and bring recommendations forward Document and maintain business requirements in a clear, organized manner Prepare and maintain system documentation and specifications Testing (QA & UAT) Own coordination for UAT across fundraising teams, vendors, and system administrators to ensure technical requirements are commonly understood and met Review work completed by technical team to ensure work adheres to quality standards and meets the requirements as outlined, flagging issues and risks Facilitate User Acceptance Testing as appropriate independently to ensure alignment with user needs Document test cases and outcomes Cross-Team Coordination Assist with developing project plans for prioritized projects and enhancements, including testing, training, communication, and deployment activities Support scoping and sequencing of work, in partnership with the Sr. Manager, to reduce cross-team friction and enable timely delivery Help track project deadlines, schedules, and deliverables Support change management activities QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
