Design, develop, and support IT solutions for energy trading and risk management systems. | Proven experience in software development, application support, and energy trading domain, with specific technical skills in Java, .Net, SQL, and Endur. | The Software Engineer role is responsible for working with business and IT to deliver solutions in projects or enhancements for business needs. What will you be doing? • Translating functional requirements into technical specifications with inputs from subject matter experts and Design Authority. • Understanding business requirements to pilot and prototype new solutions and technologies, including procurement, setup, development, demonstration, and deployment. • Supporting Projects and Support teams in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including Requirements Gathering, Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Implementation, and Production support for software systems. • Determining and design solutions that are scalable and sustainable for a global business. • Developing open and trusting relationships with business stakeholders/users. • Contribute/participate in local and global IT community activities. ________________________________________ Mandatory Skills & Technologies • Functional and Technical Experience with OpenLink Endur (v11+) • Endur development using JVS and OpenComponents • Experience with developing solutions using Java and .Net • Experience with Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL and Informatica • In-depth knowledge of Endur's database schema and ability to write/tune SQL. • Experienced in handling memory management issues with JVS and OpenComponents scripting • Experienced with utilizing and implementing Connex, Grid Enabled Scripts, and Operation Services • Experienced with utilizing and implementing Endur's Trade Process Management (TPM) • Understands mature software design/architectures, software quality management and coding standards • Familiar with Microsoft Azure DevOps tools (such as VSTS and GIT) • Able to manage multiple delivery priorities and multiple demand requests • Work closely with stakeholders and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications. • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment. In this position, the coordinator will help with project deliverables, KPI tracking & reporting, generation of weekly status reports, requirements elicitation, meeting minutes & action items, and other duties as assigned. Experience in project coordination/management is required. The chosen candidates will report to the project manager and receive day to day work assignments. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 2+ years in account management, employee relations, or HR engagement role — preferably in staffing or consulting. • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. • Experience with ATS/CRM systems (e.g., Crelate) is a plus.
