Drive sales of open-die forgings to U.S. Navy and Nuclear markets by developing new business, managing relationships, conducting market research, collaborating with engineering teams, and representing the company at industry events. | Proven business development or sales experience in forging, steel, or heavy manufacturing industries, deep knowledge of Navy and Nuclear procurement, technical understanding of open-die forgings, strong communication and negotiation skills, and ability to travel frequently. | Job Description Job Description Business Development Manager: Navy & Nuclear Forgings We're looking for a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales of open-die forgings to the U.S. Navy and Nuclear markets . This is a remote position requiring frequent travel to customer sites, industry events, and the forging facilities. Key Responsibilities • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within the U.S. Navy and Nuclear sectors. • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including engineers, procurement officers, and program managers. • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, identify new project opportunities, and stay ahead of competitor activities. • Collaborate with our engineering and operations teams to provide technical solutions and ensure customer satisfaction. • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals. • Negotiate contracts and manage the sales cycle from lead generation to final delivery. • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events. Qualifications • Proven experience in business development or sales, with a track record of success in the forging, steel, or heavy manufacturing industry . • In-depth knowledge of the U.S. Navy and Nuclear supply chains and procurement processes. • Technical understanding of open-die forgings and how they are used in critical applications. • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment. • Willingness and ability to travel frequently.
