Our team supports clients through strategic HR, recruiting, leadership development, and employee experience work. This isn't a traditional internal HR Director role. You'll serve as a trusted HR leader to multiple clients across different industries, quickly learning their businesses, building relationships with their leaders, and helping them solve both strategic and day-to-day people challenges. What You’ll Be Doing• Serve as a trusted HR advisor to business owners, executives, and leadership teams. • Provide fractional HR leadership to multiple small and mid-sized clients across a variety of industries. • Help clients solve costly people challenges including turnover, employee relations, performance issues, engagement, compensation, organizational structure, and staffing. • Coach leaders through complex employee relations matters, including performance and behavior issues, leaves, staffing reductions, and other sensitive situations. • Develop practical HR strategies, processes, policies, and programs that support each client's business goals and culture. • Advise clients on federal, state, and local employment laws, with particular expertise in Colorado. • Help growing organizations build and scale effective people practices. • Move comfortably between strategic advising and hands-on execution based on what each client needs. • Build strong, trusted relationships that make you an extension of the client's leadership team. • Support clients throughout the Denver metro area, from Broomfield to Castle Rock, as well as remotely support clients across the US. What You Bring• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant HR leadership experience. • Experience advising owners, executives, and senior business leaders on complex people matters. • Deep knowledge of employee relations, performance management, employment law, organizational development, and HR best practices. • Strong working knowledge of Colorado employment law; multi-state experience is preferred. • Demonstrated ability to balance business needs, employee experience, and compliance. • Experience coaching managers and leaders through difficult or sensitive employee situations. • Ability to quickly understand different businesses, cultures, personalities, and priorities. • Comfort shifting between high-level strategy, detailed research, and tactical execution. • Strong judgment and the confidence to provide clear recommendations—even when the answer isn't black and white. • A practical, flexible approach and the ability to meet clients where they are. • Experience in HR consulting, professional services, or a multi-client environment is highly valued. • SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, or similar certification preferred.
