Support Agile and DevOps activities, develop and execute software test plans, manage defects, and collaborate with developers and teams. | Requires experience with ALM and configuration management tools, understanding of QA practices, strong communication skills, and an active Secret clearance. | Title: Quality Assurance Analyst Work Location: Remote Essential Functions: Contribute to several software-related project functions for our NAVAIR customer by supporting Agile and Dev/Ops implementation activities; collaborate between self-organizing and cross-functional teams Work closely with Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst and Tester to develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify software problems and their causes Capture and manage software/application defects in tracking system Communicate issues and work directly with software developers to analyze and ensure corrections are resolved to meet approved specifications/requirements Participate in software design reviews to provide input on requirements, operational characteristics, product designs, and schedules Other duties as assigned or required Qualifications and Experience: Required: Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and configuration management tools such as Team Foundation Server (TFS), Microsoft Azure DevOps, GIT, Jira, Jama Understanding of Quality Control and Quality Assurance practices and policies Strong verbal and written communication skills Desired: Experience supporting applications within the NAVAIR hosting environments Experience with naval logistics and maintenance applications Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc. Education: BS or BA technical degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Mathematics, Management or Relevant Technical Discipline) and 5 years related experience OR AS or AA degree and 7 years related experience OR HS and 9 years related experience.
