About the role We are looking for a Healthcare Integrations Specialist who can own the full lifecycle of healthcare data integrations - from scoping and project management through technical implementation and production support. You'll be the critical link between TrueClaim and external vendor systems, building and maintaining the data highways that power modern health plans. This is a Full-Time, in-person role in SF. Skills: 2+ years of professional integrations experience in healthcare 2+ years writing production Python code in a professional setting Deep experience with EDI X12 healthcare transaction sets (837, 835, 834, 270/271, etc.) Hands-on experience with flat file integrations in healthcare settings Experience working with PostgreSQL Fluency across connectivity protocols: SFTP, API integrations, VPN configurations Strong project management skills - you know how to keep complex, multi-party integrations on track Relentless follow-through: you schedule meetings, track deliverables, and push partners when things stall What we think you might do: Own integrations with clearinghouses, PBMs, and point solutions Build custom parsers and transformers for non-standard file formats Project manage complex and aggressive integration timelines with external stakeholders Debug production data issues and implement monitoring to catch problems early Gradually help evolve our integration platform to be the best in the industry What you will actually do: Whatever our customers need to get their data flowing Please avoid this role if: You prefer to hand off integrations to someone else after initial setup You want to only do technical work without the project management and stakeholder communication You need every integration to follow the same clean pattern You are looking for a predictable environment Bonus points: Previous software engineering role - you've shipped production code beyond integrations You've worked at a health plan, TPA, or claims system vendor History of managing 5+ concurrent integration projects Logistics 4-5 days per week in-office in San Francisco. About the role We are looking for additional team members to join our growing Health Plan Operations team as we scale and shape the future of health plan administration. This role is absolutely critical to the success of our company and will take on ownership for a wide range of operational workflows. We expect this team to work directly with the Founders on a regular basis. What we think you might do: Handle the enrollment, eligibility, and billing processes for new and existing plan participants. Manage the end-to-end process of claims, including submission, review, and payment disbursement. Reconcile participant accounts to reflect claim payments, administrative payments, monthly contributions, and other plan activity Support members and providers via email, phone, and our app Conduct regular audits of data and processes to identify and resolve discrepancies, minimizing costly errors and financial risk.
