The Data Solutions Analyst design and deliver analytics solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, with a primary focus on creating interactive Power BI dashboards that drive business decisions across the firm. Working closely with business development teams, attorneys, and leadership, the Analyst translates complex data into compelling visual stories and automated workflows that support client engagement and firm strategy. The Analyst will develop Power Platform solutions, maintain data pipelines, build SQL queries in SSMS, collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, and serve as a trusted advisor for data-driven insights.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions that translate complex data into actionable insights for business development, client engagement, and operational decision-making. • Build integrated Power Platform solutions (Power Automate workflows, Power Apps applications, Power Query data transformations) to streamline processes and enhance user experience. • Write and optimize SQL queries in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) using existing tables and schemas to support reporting, data validation, modeling, and automated workflows. • Collaborate with business development teams, attorneys, and leadership to gather requirements, understand analytical needs, and deliver solutions tailored to client and practice growth. • Develop and maintain automated data pipelines connecting internal systems and external data sources, including federal and state agencies, legal databases, and third-party vendors. • Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders, serving as product owner for analytics deliverables and continuously refining dashboards and workflows based on user feedback. • Work cross-functionally with the Data Solutions team and other technical teams on data integration, quality assurance, problem resolution, and implementing data-driven operational solutions. • Leverage available artificial intelligence resources to enhance work product and internal processes. • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity, creativity, and advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Maintain the confidentiality of firm data, as appropriate.  Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform including Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps; ability to design integrated solutions across the platform. • Advanced Power BI expertise required including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, report design, and dashboard UX principles. • Exceptional ability to communicate data insights to non-technical audiences through compelling visualizations and clear written narratives. • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships across departments, understand business needs, and manage competing priorities. • SQL proficiency required for data extraction and manipulation, experience with data transformation and integration. • Robust data analytics skills, with proven ability to identify key insights from varied and robust data sources. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while focusing on continuous improvement. • Ability to take initiative without established guidelines and procedures using significant independent judgment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to independently research complex problem areas, facilitate meetings and high-level decision-making processes. • Ability to adapt to change and balance competing demands while meeting deadlines. • Familiarity with Foundation, DealCloud (or other CRM system), Aderant, Vuture/Marigold, and federal/state agency data sources a plus.  Education and/or Experience: • Bachelor's degree; any combination of training, education, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the position's duties may be considered. • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience working in law firms, professional services firms, consultant agencies, research organizations, or journalism. • Demonstrated experience and success developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power BI. Experience building Power Automate workflows and integrating Power Platform tools strongly preferred. • Experience with other data visualization and data management platforms (e.g., Alteryx, Azure Data Studio) preferred. • Python experience beneficial; key libraries include pandas, requests, beautifulsoup, and selenium. • Experience presenting to senior leadership and facilitating data-driven discussions with attorneys and business development teams. • Power Automate experience building automated workflows and data integration processes. • Experience working with APIs, JSON, and web-based data sources. The Legal Project Analyst will work directly with attorneys, Paralegals, and Legal Practice Assistants to effectively manage and coordinate the firm's administrative and legal processes for their largest and most complex client relationships. The Legal Project Analyst will support reporting, knowledge management, and oversight of billing and collections for our top clients. The Legal Project Analyst will work with the administrative departments and attorney teams to develop and implement procedures to improve the firm's processes and profitability. The Legal Project Analyst will also support the Legal Project Management team's overall mission, which is to improve the partners' practices to allow them to engage in their legal work more effectively. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Conduct analysis to help identify issues, working closely with the Legal Project Manager to provide guidance to client teams to streamline and improve the firm's legal teams' processes and gain efficiencies. • Support successfully implementing the firm's outside counsel guideline compliance function/technology. • Review time entries and bills to ensure compliance with outside counsel guidelines. • Implement process improvements for the legal team for tasks related to time entry, reporting, billing, and client compliance. • Support the implementation, use, and development of LPM best practices, tools, and software. • Liaise with other business services teams (ex., Pricing/Finance/IT/Marketing/Business Development/Litigation Support) and vendors to support partners and their clients/matters. • Develop a strong understanding of identified legal terms, including matter timelines and processes, to assist in reviewing and highlighting issues that need Attorney attention. • Develop processes to highlight and address issues quickly; create processes and corresponding documentation that could be replicated across the various legal teams as required. • Provide requested financial data and analysis. • Seek out opportunities to improve the Legal Project Management function at the firm.
