We work closely with our internal stakeholders to deliver impactful features to our internal customers and the company. • The team’s culture is built on psychological safety wherein team members build rapport and trust-based relationships with teammates, hold each other accountable and to a high bar, collaborate extensively, and have lots of fun along the way. • The team’s timezone is a mix of EST and PST with at least 6 hours of overlap with PST (8 am to 2 pm PST) • On-Call: We have an on-call rotation that is a week long in duration approximately once every 4-6 weeks. Learn about TRM Speed in this position: • Ruthless Prioritization & Adaptability: We adapt quickly when faced with new information. For example, an engineer may message the PM or EM to prioritize Task A vs. Task B in the middle of the sprint – we don’t let inertia guide our decisions. Instead we focus on ruthless prioritization and pivot quickly as needed. • Challenging Timelines (Execution Pressure): An engineer questions a teammate’s proposed 3-week timeline, and constructively argues for condensing it to 2 weeks—backed by rationale, tradeoffs, and a plan to reduce scope or increase velocity. They show ownership of delivery speed and willingness to push for urgency. • Time-Boxed Spiking (Rapid Learning & Decision-Making): An engineer proposes a 1-week spike with a clear time-box and success criteria to explore implementation options or validate feasibility through a proof of concept. They demonstrate speed not just in execution, but in de-risking decisions early. At TRM, you'll join a mission-driven, fast-paced team made up of experts in law enforcement, data science, engineering, and financial intelligence, tackling complex global challenges daily. Whether analyzing blockchain data, developing cutting-edge tools, or collaborating with global organizations, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact. We’re hiring a People Analytics Specialist to join our Talent function and help power our recruiting insights engine. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role responsible for turning complex talent data into insights that drive better hiring decisions, improve operational efficiency, and forecasting. You’ll partner closely with Talent Leadership, Recruiters, and HR Ops to build dashboards, run talent funnel analyses, and implement automations that help us scale. From optimizing our dashboards in Looker Studio to ensuring data quality across Greenhouse and BIC, you’ll help build the analytics backbone of a growing Talent Center of Excellence. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of recruiting data, automation, and business storytelling — someone who wants to help a world-class Talent team move faster and smarter. The impact you will have: • Own and optimize our Talent dashboards in Looker Studio — ensuring accuracy, speed, and usability across sourcing, pipeline, and offer data. • Partner with Recruiters and Talent Leaders to analyze recruiting funnel metrics, hiring performance, and talent forecasts. • Build automations and data tools (e.g., Apps Script, Python, or no-code platforms) to reduce manual tracking and reporting effort. • Audit and clean data across Greenhouse, BIC, and Google Sheets to ensure consistency and reliability. • Run ad hoc analyses and build visualizations that help answer questions like: “Where are we slowing down?”, “Which channels are most effective?”, or “How do we track to plan?” • Collaborate with People Ops on integrated metrics (e.g., headcount actuals vs. plan) and workforce data governance. • Translate complex data into clear stories and recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders. What we’re looking for: • At least 2–4 years of professional experience in a recruiting analytics or people analytics position • You’ve built and maintained dashboards in Looker Studio and know how to design for speed, scalability, and accuracy. • You are deeply familiar with recruiting systems like Greenhouse and have experience integrating or analyzing BIC/ATS data. • Strong proficiency with Google Sheets, SQL, and/or Python. Able to work with large datasets, clean and transform data, and build models to inform decisions. • Experience with workflow automation using Google Apps Script, Zapier, or similar tools. You look for ways to make manual processes disappear. • You understand the recruiting lifecycle and can help the team measure what matters — from time-to-fill and source effectiveness to recruiter load and funnel health. • Able to explain data trends and recommended optimizations clearly to recruiters, hiring managers, and leadership teams. About the Team: Our Talent & HR Operations team is distributed across the US and LATAM, blending junior and senior team members into a collaborative, fast-paced environment. We value structure, autonomy, and clarity — and stay connected through regular standups, async docs, and shared ownership of outcomes. We thrive in ambiguity, prioritize progress over perfection, and build for scale. You’ll be joining a culture that values kindness, curiosity, and a relentless focus on impact. • Asynchronous-first: We are globally distributed and default to async tools (Slack, Loom, Notion) to work efficiently. • Overlap Hours: All team members must have 4+ hours of overlap with 7am–12pm PST (M–F) to support collaboration. • Rotating On-Call: The team rotates coverage 2–3x per year for Slack/email while others are offline — each member does this once/year. You stay close to the work, unblock your team, and lead by example. Curiosity & growth mindset: You’re energized by novel problems, seek truth through data, and thrive in fast-paced, scrappy environments.
