Based in Lebanon, Tennessee, this permanent full-time position is essential for driving cost efficiencies and ensuring the procurement of high-quality components that meet the company's operational needs. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supplier relationships and contribute to the overall success of the organization. This role will be pivotal in supplier strategy, commercial negotiations, cost optimization, supplier performance, capacity planning, and technology roadmaps for power semiconductor modules, thermal management systems, cold plates, heat sinks, thermal interface materials, cooling components, and related assemblies. Responsibilities • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for power modules and thermal management components. • Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities. • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions. • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure alignment on specifications and quality standards. • Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans as necessary. • Manage inventory levels and forecast demand to optimize supply chain efficiency. • Prepare and present reports on sourcing activities and market trends to senior management. • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all sourcing activities. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. • A minimum of 7 years of experience in commodity management or procurement, preferably in the logistics or manufacturing sectors. • Experience managing global suppliers within power electronics, automotive, industrial electronics, EV charging, renewable energy, or related industries. • Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management. • Proficient in data analysis and market research techniques. • Experience managing global RFQs and supplier selection. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software. Based in Lebanon, Tennessee, this permanent full-time position is essential for optimizing our supply chain and ensuring the availability of high-quality mechanical components. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing global sourcing strategies for mechanical components including metal fabrications, enclosures, machined parts, stamped components, plastics, and related assemblies. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supplier relationships and contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our global operations. Responsibilities • Develop and implement category strategies for mechanical components to achieve cost savings and quality improvements. • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the mechanical components sector. • Manage supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with company standards. • Lead supplier selection, RFQs, negotiations, contract management, and sourcing decisions for both new product introduction (NPI) and production programs. • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand requirements and align sourcing strategies. • Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as necessary. • Prepare and present reports on category performance and sourcing initiatives to senior management. • Lead cross-functional projects aimed at improving procurement processes and reducing lead times. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field. • A minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management with a manufacturing environment. • Experience sourcing mechanical components such as sheet metal fabrications, metal enclosures, machined parts, stamped components, plastics, or structured assemblies. • Strong negotiation and contract management skills. • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and procurement tools. • Proficient in data analysis and market research methodologies. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Experience collaborating with suppliers and teams across North America. EMEA, and APAC. • Familiarity with fabrication processes including CNC machining, metal stamping, welding powder coating, die casting, and injection molding. About The Role Reporting to the VP of Manufacturing in the US, you will drive sourcing and procurement strategy, managing a global supplier network. This role strengthens procurement as a strategic partner in innovation and cost efficiency, ensuring optimal purchasing value and competitive advantage for Tritium’s capital, materials, and services worldwide.This role is based in Middle Tennessee. Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities Include • Procurement & Sourcing: Develop and execute comprehensive procurement and category sourcing strategies, optimizing supplier selection, contract negotiations, and cost efficiency while ensuring supply continuity. • New Product Introduction & Technology Roadmap: Lead supply chain integration in product development, sourcing R&D suppliers, engaging contract manufacturers, and supporting early-stage technology adoption. • Supplier & Risk Management: Oversee supplier relationships, rationalization, and performance monitoring while mitigating key supply chain risks (commodities, lead times, obsolescence, logistics, strikes, cyber threats). • Compliance & Trade: Manage customs, tariffs, and trade regulations to ensure seamless import/export operations and cost optimization. • Operational Efficiency: Optimize business systems, freight logistics, warehouse management, and material flow to enhance delivery timelines and reduce costs. • Performance & Data Insights: Develop dashboards and data-driven analyses to improve supply chain decision-making and efficiency. • Process Improvement & Collaboration: Drive operational excellence initiatives, streamline costs and velocity across the supply chain, and foster cross-functional partnerships. • Leadership & Talent Development: Lead organizational design, recruitment, and talent management to build a high-performing supply chain team.
