The Senior Manager, Product Management within the Finance, Procurement & Supply Chain (FP&SC) organization will play a pivotal role in growing the team and driving product management excellence within the Elevate Transformation program. They will support the overall Transformation Delivery Leadership team and serve as a thought leader throughout the major phases of the Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program. They will guide the product management team across the functional workstreams and promote process standardization, quality of deliverables, management of capability backlogs and roadmaps, collaboration with software vendors, and achieving business outcomes. This Sr Manager must be comfortable working in a complex environment, experienced in Product Management, and able to drive transformative change. Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Strategy • Works in collaboration with Sr. Director to develop strategy, plan, goals (outcomes) for the program phases. • Drive cross-functional alignments with various teams inside and outside of the program. • Analyze current challenges of the program and create strategies for mitigation; present and align on recommendation and then lead execution of mitigation. • Partner with the functional workstreams and central value team to understand the value outcomes of the program; support identification and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure success and quality. • Understand transformational objectives and support budget development efforts for the ensuing year based on scope, outcomes, and constraints. Product Management • Drive product management standards within the Elevate product management resources. • Ensure consistency of deliverables and depth of content across the Elevate functional workstreams including vision materials, capability-based roadmaps, capability and feature definition, user story and success criteria documentation, linkage to business process enablement, and full traceability of key artifacts throughout the program lifecycle. • Partner with the enterprise tools teams to ensure correct and timely use of key product and delivery toolsets including Jira, SharePoint and Confluence. • Establish connection with the product vendors and participate in the feedback loop on product roadmap opportunities and value to T-Mobile. • Drive thought leadership on the connection of capabilities and features to agreed-upon value in the Elevate business case; use value connection to ensure proper prioritization of capabilities in each release. Project Management • Coordinate with multiple impacted teams to drive thoughtful project planning for delivery. • Provide guidance to vendors and FTEs on delivery approach, timelines, risks, issues, opportunities, and decisions. • Support issue resolution across teams by building relationships, completing analysis and driving decisions. • Build materials for team and executive consumption on key topics. Team Development • Lead a team consisting of Product Managers and Business Analysts that are part of the core functional workstreams inside the ERP+ program. • Provide regular coaching and development to the team members focusing on growing capabilities and delivering value to the program. • Build cross-functional relationships to support healthy collaboration across the ERP+ program teams. • Manage teams to achieve results by providing appropriate direction and support. • Conduct regular performance reviews and career progression conversations. • Interview and hire qualified team members, both FTEs and Contractors. • Support team in creating training and career development plans and ensures assignments with increasing levels of responsibility are given to staff. Additional requirements: • Experience in delivering large and complex business process and technology programs. • Proven ability to communicate with leadership effectively, while employing a high degree of collaboration and influence across teams. • Experience in Oracle Fusion ERP processes, technology and/or implementations • Experience working in and functional knowledge of Finance, Supply Chain and/or Procurement business organizations, processes, and technologies. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences including executives and non-technical leaders. • Experience working in agile and waterfall delivery methodologies and relevant toolsets. • Ability to develop high quality deliverables, including oral, written and PPT presentations for executive communications. • Ability to negotiate between teams and reach consensus and support.
