You’ll shape new and refreshing approaches for Tipalti’s evolving brand — crafting visuals and narratives which are approachable, memorable, modern, and fun. In this role, you will be responsible for • Lead creative execution across end-to-end graphic design deliverables from concept phase to final production, across all marketing assets: motion graphics, digital ads, webinars, email graphics, animated short videos, web pages, social media posts • Leverage sophisticated, polished, professional motion design to amplify marketing messaging into compelling and engaging designs which answer those messaging goals • Lead the development of visual approaches which can scale: templates, tools, and guidance: elevating the quality of work produced by an internal design team while enabling our cross-functional partners to self-serve at their own fast and unpredictable pace • Directly support the Creative Director, and cross-functional leaders and partners, to continually update design roadmaps which can fulfill marketing communication objectives • Leverage your deep experience at industry leading, imaginative and iterative visual storytelling to generate thoughtful ideas, compelling narratives, and scalable concepts • Lead the production of refined, professional, best-in-class branded visuals that are unique, cohesive, and beautiful — for use in assets across multiple mediums and channels (digital, web banners, social media posts, email marketing, animation, landing pages) • Execute the highest quality of design throughout all phases of the process: sketching, refining working design prototypes, and final production • Lead creative brainstorms and critiques with a genuine interest in finding the best solution for engaging new and existing audiences • Take ownership to ensure that every brief meets business goals and creative standards • Manage collaboration with cross-functional departments (Creative, Marketing, Product) • Leverage your deep deep experience to define, establish, and explain design standards, theory, and approaches • Provide insights to the latest standards and trends in the animation and design fields About you • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or Advertising with relevant formal training • At least 5-8 years of working experience on a professional creative team. (An in-house B2B SaaS environment is preferable.) • Firsthand experience producing digital assets, both static and animated (e.g. motion graphics, animation, landing pages, web banners, social media posts, email marketing) • Excellent grasp of Motion Graphics, Typography, and basic Design Theory (hierarchy, rhythm, negative space, scale, balance, conversion performance theory, color theory) • Relevant knowledge of both classic and contemporary trends in typography, photography, illustration, motion graphics, video • Strong background with metrics-driven creative (i.e. performance marketing, paid social, digital banners, direct response advertising design) • Online portfolio demonstrating a solutions-based approach to innovative and inspired ideas and design with several examples of firsthand digital assets • Advanced knowledge of motion design and relevant software (Figma, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects) • Strong pre-visualization skills (e.g. wireframes, motion theory) and skills executing in digital mediums (web, video, occasional motion graphics) • Understanding of current best practices in digital design, loose awareness of standards like CSS, Javascript, HTML, and front-end development, and familiarity and comfort working within UX constraints • Mix of experience in both agency and in-house contexts is a plus • Digital marketing background a plus (e.g. performance metrics and digital platforms) • Startup experience a plus: fluid, faced-paced environment with same day multi-tasks • Easy and positive collaborator across departments, contractors, and agencies • Flexible but pragmatic, detail-oriented when necessary • Mentor and inspire junior creatives Our benefits package includes: • Competitive salary and stock options • Matching 401K • Extended benefits, Employee Assistance Program, life insurance, AD&D, LTD • 15 days of PTO • Subsidized lunch on office days • Fresh fruit, snacks & drinks in office • Dog friendly office on Thursdays • Phone/internet allowance • Regular company-wide social events • Multiple ERG groups celebrating our diversity and creating an inclusive culture If you are located in the Bay Area, California: Anticipated base pay rate for this position is $113,850-$126,500 USD. Variable (commission or bonus) pay rate will be paid in addition to base salary noted above. If you are located in the British Columbia, Canada : Anticipated base pay rate for this position is $103,000-$115,000 CAD. Variable (commission or bonus) pay rate will be paid in addition to base salary noted above. In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Customer Onboarding Managers, ensuring they have the skills and resources to excel in their roles. • Drive the successful implementation and adoption of the Tipalti solution for high-value customers, ensuring timely and effective go-lives and maximizing platform utilization. • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and product adoption, particularly for complex, strategic accounts. • Establish and enforce clear expectations and operational standards for the onboarding process, focusing on consistency and efficiency. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless customer transitions, address product enhancements, and advocate for customer needs. • Identify and implement opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy and operational excellence within the onboarding lifecycle, potentially introducing more robust project management (PMO) methodologies. • Cultivate a team environment that prioritizes consultative behavior, enabling Onboarding Managers to become trusted advisors to customers, particularly regarding global payout complexities, cross-border payments, and tax compliance. • Oversee the management of customer relationships during onboarding, ensuring high-touch engagement and executive sponsorship where appropriate. • Implement strategies to increase team efficiency and reduce reliance on manual processes, promoting self-service solutions for payees and streamlined internal workflows. • Monitor team performance against key metrics, including implementation timelines, adoption rates, and customer satisfaction, utilizing data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement. • Address and resolve complex customer challenges and escalations, acting as a point of escalation for your team. • Contribute to the strategic development of the Tipalti Products offering by providing feedback on market needs, product gaps, and opportunities for service extension (e.g., Service Extension SOWs). • Bring a developer-first mindset and design implementation and onboarding methodologies that drive outcomes with key stakeholders in the creator/ digital economy About You • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in customer onboarding, implementation, or professional services roles within a SaaS or FinTech environment. With 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing and developing a team of customer-facing professionals. • Demonstrated understanding of the creator economy, global payment systems, and mass payouts space. • Proven ability to drive successful implementations and adoption for high-value, complex enterprise clients. • Strong operational mindset with a track record of improving processes, establishing metrics, and driving efficiency. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of an organization, from technical teams to executive stakeholders. • Experience managing distributed teams across different locations is a significant plus. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs. • Strategic thinking with an ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance customer value and team capabilities.
