As a Nurse Practitioner with IMA, you will conduct physical assessments, review medical records and ancillary testing results, and prepare reports using VA guidelines. The schedule consists of 5 days per week. Responsibilities: Medical Evaluations: Perform in-depth medical assessments as a Nurse Practitioner, including gathering medical histories and conducting physical examinations of applicants. Diagnostic Interpretation: Analyze and interpret diagnostic and ancillary testing. Report Writing: Create a comprehensive medical report including VA criteria to determine the likelihood that the Veteran's condition is related to their military service. Data Submission: Nurse Practitioners utilize our user-friendly report generation platform to submit your VA-approved questionnaire quickly and easily. Qualifications: Valid Nurse Practitioner license. Completion of a master’s degree in nursing studies. Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner. Preferred specialties include family medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine, occupational medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), or orthopedics. This role involves coordinating between clients, examinees, and experts to facilitate smooth case flow. | Candidates should have a bachelor's degree or 3+ years of relevant experience in case coordination or customer service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills are essential. | Job Summary The Case Coordinator plays a critical role in managing the end-to-end referral process for medical and mental health evaluations. This position ensures timely scheduling, communication, and coordination between clients, examinees, and experts. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, delivering excellent customer service and seamless case management. Starting salary for this position is 22$ per hour. This position is not considering candidates from New York City, Chicago, California, Colorado, or Washington states at this time. Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the referral process, including pre-referrals, case setup, and scheduling evaluations Submit estimates for services and secure client approval to proceed Communicate consistently with clients, examinees, and experts to ensure smooth case flow Provide all necessary documentation to evaluating experts and ensure timely delivery of reports to clients Use internal systems for telehealth, record management, and case tracking Handle incoming calls from clients, experts, and internal team members Serve as backup for other Case Coordinators when needed Support other administrative and departmental projects as assigned Qualifications: Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant experience in case coordination, customer service, or healthcare-related scheduling Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PDF applications; ability to learn and navigate case management systems Communication & Organization: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience: Background in disability or employer services industry, and experience scheduling medical or mental health evaluations Benefits: Complete Health Coverage: Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance packages to ensure your well-being.
