Develop and deploy AI-integrated microservices and automation workflows using AI-enabled IDEs, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable software solutions. | Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, experience with Cursor or Windsurf IDEs, familiarity with SQL and React, and basic knowledge of generative AI art tools and LLM APIs. | Description: You will work alongside our AI Technology Manager to implement high-impact automation projects. Your primary focus will be on execution and implementation, turning ideas into production-ready software quickly and efficiently. You will be expected to combine traditional coding skills with an AI-first approach to building tools, services, and creative workflows. This is not a research-heavy role. Your success will come from your ability to use AI-enhanced tools to deliver functional, scalable, and well-structured solutions fast. Requirements: Key Responsibilities • Develop and deploy microservices to support automation and AI integration across departments • Use AI-enabled IDEs (Cursor or Windsurf required) for rapid code prototyping and debugging • Build and maintain backend and frontend solutions (Python, JavaScript, TypeScript; bonus for SQL and React) • Integrate LLM APIs into applications for both text and multimodal processing • Implement generative AI art pipelines using Stable Diffusion, Flux, and ComfyUI • Develop lightweight creative automation workflows for image, video, and content generation • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and iterate quickly on deliverables • Maintain clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Required Skills and Experience • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript • Experience using Cursor or Windsurf IDEs • Familiarity with SQL and React (bonus) • Basic experience with: Generative AI art tools (Stable Diffusion, Flux, ComfyUI), Working with LLM APIs, Video editing tools (Premiere, After Effects) • Comfort using AI agents and assistants for software development tasks • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment Nice to Have • Experience integrating AI tools into creative or marketing workflows • Familiarity with API-first microservice architecture • Experience deploying projects to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) Why Join Us • Be at the forefront of AI-driven software development and creative automation • Work on varied projects that span technical and creative domains • Flexible remote work options with a Chicago HQ presence • Collaborative team environment focused on speed, quality, and innovation
