We are seeking an experienced, results-oriented General Manager to lead operations at one of our high-performing residential communities. This role offers the unique opportunity to run a multi-million-dollar asset while building and developing a high-performance team. Position Summary The General Manager is fully responsible for all aspects of property operations, financial performance, team leadership, and resident satisfaction. This role functions as the on-site business leader, with full accountability for revenue growth, operational efficiency, team development, and community engagement. This is an exceptional opportunity for a strategic leader with strong business acumen and proven experience managing high-volume teams. Industry experience is not required; many of our most successful leaders have transitioned from retail, hospitality, and restaurant management backgrounds. Key Responsibilities • Strategic Leadership: Lead day-to-day operations of the property with a focus on profitability, operational excellence, and team performance. • Financial Oversight: Manage the property’s financial performance, including budgeting, expense control, bill payments, and full P&L accountability. • Team Development & Performance Management: Mentor and manage high-performing associates across leasing and maintenance functions. Hold team members accountable to established performance metrics • Sales & Revenue Management: Oversee all aspects of sales strategy including traffic generation, leasing, renewals, and occupancy optimization. Actively participate in leasing efforts. • Operational Execution: Ensure all operational systems, policies, and procedures are effectively implemented and maintained to meet company standards. • Resident Experience: Foster a service-oriented culture focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience and maintaining resident satisfaction. • Facilities Oversight: Manage maintenance operations, including timely completion of work orders and apartment turnovers. • Community Engagement: Support corporate initiatives that provide value to local communities through The Connor Group’s Kids & Community Partners program.
