Purpose: • Clearly understand and communicate project objectives and goals • Organize the needed resources to meet project requirements • Owns project-level scope, schedule, and budget • Ensure projects adhere to Church process and policy equivalent to the sphere of work • Act as project generalist - may be asked to manage a range of project times (e.g. web, mobile, exhibits, etc.) • Engage when multiple deliverables coalesce into a cohesive whole and end-to-end management is needed Responsibilities • Stakeholder Management: Understands, coordinates, and manages client and resource team expectations. • Integration Management: Plans, directs, manages, monitors, controls, and closes projects of high complexity and high profile. • Scope Management: Uses standard processes to ensure projects/programs include all and only the work required to complete the project successfully. • Time Management: Uses standard processes to ensure the timely completion of projects. • Cost Management: Uses standard processes to ensure projects are completed within the approved budget. • Quality Management: Uses standard processes to ensure the project will satisfy the needs for which it was undertaken. • Human Resource Management: Uses personal skills and standard processes to make the most effective use of the project team; may include leading a group of project managers. • Communications Management: Uses standard processes to ensure timely and appropriate generation, collection, dissemination, storage, and ultimate disposition of project information. Provides the critical links among people (including senior-level leaders), ideas, and information that are necessary for success. • Risk Management: Uses standard process to identify, analyze, and respond to project risk. • Procurement Management: Uses standard processes to acquire goods and services from providers. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's Degree in a related field. • Minimum 8 years of work experience in related field, including 6 years of project management or Master's degree and 6 years of experience. • Manage scope, schedule, and budget of projects that are typically of high complexity and high profile with many deliverables in many languages. • Manage and communicate between cross-functional teams. • Proficiency in a project management system, for example WorkFront Interface and communicate with senior-level leaders. • Lead and manage a group of project managers. Preferred: • PMP or other project management certification recognized in specific industries.
Support communications team by applying writing and editing skills to various messaging efforts for a large student audience. | Must be a communications intern based in Utah or Idaho, able to work full-time Monday-Friday, with strong writing and editing skills. | Join the communications team at BYU-Pathway Worldwide and help share the inspiring story of one of the fastest-growing and most impactful organizations in the Church. As a paid communications intern, you'll apply strong writing and editing skills to support a variety of messaging efforts that reach more than 80,000 students in 180 countries. Working under the direction of the communications manager, you'll collaborate with professionals across writing, messaging, graphic design, project management, and digital marketing teams. You'll gain meaningful, real-world experience in the communications field - and produce quality portfolio pieces that showcase your writing and editing skills. This is a paid remote internship, based out of the Triad Center in Salt Lake City, UT. Candidates must live in Utah or Idaho.
