This position requires a dynamic individual who can manage various aspects of book production, from talent acquisition to marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creative and analytical skills, ensuring that both authors and their works receive the attention they deserve in a competitive market. Duties • Manage the entire lifecycle of book projects, including planning, production, and marketing. • Oversee talent acquisition by identifying and recruiting new authors and literary talents. • Negotiate contracts with authors, agents, and other stakeholders to secure favorable terms. • Develop and implement social media marketing strategies to promote books and engage with readers. • Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials that align with brand objectives. • Manage relationships with literary agencies to ensure effective communication and collaboration. • Monitor sales performance and adjust marketing strategies as necessary to maximize reach and impact. • Provide guidance on talent management, helping authors develop their careers within the publishing industry.
