Oversee electrical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and budget adherence, while managing client relationships and project teams. | Requires a bachelor's in electrical engineering or related field, 5+ years in electrical project management, PMP certification preferred, and OSHA 30-Hour training. | The Electrical Project Manager oversees all aspects of electrical projects within TEiC, ensuring successful execution from initiation to completion. Reporting to the ES Operation Manager, this role involves coordinating with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. Position requires travel of 50% to 75% with the possibility of 100% based on project demand. Project Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure resources are allocated effectively. Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety regulations. Identify potential risks and issues early in the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address project issues to minimize impact on schedule and budget. Escalate unresolved issues to senior management as needed for resolution. Prepare and distribute project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues. Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Archive project documents and deliverables upon project completion for future reference. Customer Focus: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Manage client expectations and address concerns in a timely and professional manner. Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster repeat business and referrals. Collaboration: Lead and motivate project team members, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives. Provide guidance and support to team members to overcome challenges and achieve project milestones. Financial Management: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities and mitigating risks. Ensure accurate and timely invoicing and billing to clients and vendors. Implement cost control measures to maximize project profitability. Quality Control: Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations throughout the project. Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify adherence to quality requirements. Implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain project quality standards. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or related field experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project management, preferably in industrial construction. Completion of OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training (or equivalent) required prior to hire or within 30 days of onboarding. Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver complex projects on time and within budget. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities effectively. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences. The Construction Manager provides overall field leadership and administrative and technical supervision for the assigned project. They ensure safe project execution consistent with cost, schedule, and commercial requirements. | Experience in Power Generation construction is required, with a preference for Oil & Gas experience. Candidates should have a proven track record in leading multiple subcontractors on complex construction projects. | The Construction Manager is generally assigned as the overall site manager but could be accountable to the site manager or project manager. In this position, the Construction Manager will have project oversight with the subcontractors and be the liaison between construction, engineering and the client. The construction manager: Provides overall field leadership and administrative and technical supervision for the assigned project. May manage; General Superintendents, Discipline Superintendents, Foremen, Warehouse Manager and all operations personnel including craft labor. Implements and ensures safe project execution to TEiC's standards, consistent with cost, schedule, and commercial requirements to ensure the project's financial success. Is expected to have an on-site Field/Office presence. On smaller projects, they may take on the responsibilities of the discipline superintendent and, for larger projects, may be responsible for a portion or area of the scope. Ensures that the workflow from crew to discipline superintendents is clear and evenly distributed and that the field organization clearly understands expectations and responsibilities. Work closely with all TEiC support groups with resources assigned to the team. May travel to the home office or other corporate offices to support estimates, project development efforts, or other strategic initiatives. Position Qualifications Demonstrated success in leading merit labor, direct hire construction projects. Demonstrated success in leading multiple subcontractors on complex construction projects. Demonstrated engagement with key construction labor management personnel. Ability to build rapport and positive relationship with on-site personnel. Ability to contribute as a member of a project leadership team. Prior Project Qualifications Experience in Power Generation construction is required. Experience in Oil & Gas or Power Generation construction are preferred. Project experience should include projects from $5M up to $120M. Project experience should include multiple projects with significant subcontractor involvement. Education High School Diploma or G.E.D.
