Manage defect lifecycle, lead bug reviews, report defect trends, define SLAs, and drive process improvements. | Automotive industry experience, Agile knowledge, proficiency with Jira, Jama, GIT, strong communication and time management skills. | Position: Defect Management Specialist Location: Southfield, MI Onsite Overview: Responsible for managing the defect lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution, clear communication, and process improvements across development teams. Key Responsibilities: • Work with TPMs, engineers, and product teams to document, track, and update defects. • Ensure ownership, prioritization, and timely closure of critical defects. • Lead bug board reviews and generate weekly defect trend reports. • Define and report on defect management SLAs and risk mitigation strategies. • Perform root cause analysis and drive process improvements in defect management. Qualifications: • Automotive industry experience with knowledge of Agile methodologies. • Proficient in Jira, Jama, GIT with ability to create queries and dashboards. • Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work under pressure. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
