Assist in food production processes including packaging, equipment operation, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. | Experience in manufacturing or food production preferred, physical strength to lift 50-65 pounds, ability to follow safety and GMP protocols. | SUMMARY: Production Workers are responsible for the following processes: ingredients prep, mixing, cooking, and final packaging for Teasdale’s food products. This can include raw material preparations, setting up, monitoring, and maintaining equipment and workflows used in our food production lines. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Update and label boxes for proper packaging. Packs finished products. Records the number of cases per pallet and batch. Move and organize products, materials, or equipment between work areas. Operates food production equipment as needed (ranging from a scan gun to a steam kettle). Read work orders or other instructions to determine product specifications or process requirements. Ensures cleaning protocols are conducted for all food production equipment. Notifies supervisor of equipment repair or maintenance needs. WHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE: Training Provided but previous manufacturing experience preferred. Good hand-eye coordination. Ability to problem solve and use manual dexterity skills. Working with raw materials on a production floor requires physical strength and stamina. Must lift 50-65 pounds up to four feet high without assistance. Required to bend, stoop, pull, and push in the performance of job duties. Responsible for a clean and safe working environment always. Follows Good Manufacturing Practices. Assists other areas when needed. Performs other job duties as necessary. Lead and manage maintenance and engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency in a manufacturing facility while driving continuous improvement and compliance. | Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 7+ years in manufacturing maintenance or engineering with 3+ years leadership, knowledge of maintenance systems, CMMS proficiency, and safety regulation understanding. | MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING MANAGER - LOUISVILLE, KY. OVERVIEW The Maintenance & Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the engineering and maintenance functions within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all plant equipment and systems while driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Maintenance & Engineering Manager oversees a team of maintenance professionals and collaborates with other departments to meet production goals and maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Leadership & Team Development: Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians, engineers, and support staff. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Maintenance Management: Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Ensure timely resolution of equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime. Capital Projects: Contribute to and Lead engineering projects, including equipment upgrades, installations, and process improvements. Assist in development of project scopes, budgets, timelines, and ensure successful project execution. Reliability & Optimization: Implement strategies to improve equipment reliability and reduce costs through predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and other tools. Analyze and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance efficiency. Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, policies, and procedures. Maintain compliance with environmental and regulatory standards. Budgeting & Reporting: Manage the maintenance department budget, including labor, materials, and capital expenditures. Provide regular reports on maintenance activities, costs, and equipment performance. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field preferred). Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance or engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of maintenance systems, predictive and preventive maintenance practices, and reliability engineering. Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Demonstrated experience managing capital projects and leading cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Understanding of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment. Preferred - Experience in a food or consumer goods manufacturing environment. Preferred - Certification in Maintenance and Reliability (CMRP or similar). Preferred - Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement certification.
