TCP is hiring an experienced and motivated Product Manager (Manager, Product team T&A) to join our Product Management team as we grow and expand our Time & Attendance product offering. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the product strategy and roadmap execution for Time & Attendance product line. You will be leading a team of Product Owners, working with internal and external customers to identify and understand customer problems and their business needs and translate those into product requirements. This is a great opportunity to establish your reputation as someone who is known for follow-through, problem-solving, and rock-solid execution. As a Product Manager, you will: Drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Time & Attendance product portfolio. Lead and manage a team of Product Owners. Lead the execution of the roadmap and release objectives. Manage product lifecycle processes including product discovery, planning, and launch. Work with customers to promote the product, understand customer needs, and drive adoption. Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand, prioritize, and communicate needs to ensure a full understanding of roadmap themes and requirements. Work with Engineering leaders to direct high-performance teams and ensure the success of product delivery. Work closely with product marketing to define and implement a Go-To-Market strategy Other duties include scheduling and leading portfolio meetings to identify and prioritize product issues, manage product roadmaps, and complete daily tasks to meet project deadlines You are a strong fit for this role if you have: A minimum of 5 years related product management experience in a technology company. Experience interpreting customer business needs and translating them into application requirements. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field. Must be able to demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Strong understanding of technical designs, architecture, and technical specifications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills at both strategic and tactical levels. Team player: the ability to interface and build relationships at all levels (vertically and horizontally across functions). Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Agile & Scrum process experience. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. As a Software Engineer IV, you will: Work on the TCP TimeClock Plus product, which focuses on addressing the workforce management needs of public safety services such as EMS, fire, and police. Lead a team of software engineers, providing project management and mentorship. Collaborate with other senior members of the team to maintain consistent, high standards of product quality, code cleanliness, and architecture. Collaborate with a cross functional team of engineers, product owners, and designers to determine the best solutions for customer problems. Build complex web apps using PHP, MySQL, CSS, and JavaScript. Become a domain expert in the realm of complex rotational scheduling. Apply object-oriented design patterns, particularly MVC. Take ownership of development projects, focused on API and integration development for our Aladtec product, from early stages of product planning through implementation, release, and ongoing maintenance. Personally tackle the most difficult coding challenges on the project. Refactor existing models to enable code reuse and expose functionality via API. Champion a culture of collaboration 4+ years of relevant experience developing software with PHP, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, and MySQL Experience operating as a technical lead or team lead Experience working with remote teams across different time zones Experience developing REST APIs using Symfony, Composer, and OpenAPI Experience building integrations with third party applications Ability to quickly learn complex concepts, tools, and processes Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of objected-oriented design patterns Attention to detail A passion for personal growth High integrity and a strong work ethic Competitive Salary based on experience 20 Days of PTO (Paid Time Off) and 13 days of companywide holidays 8 hours to volunteer and impact the community Comprehensive benefits (Health/Dental/Vision/ 401K) The work/life set up you need to be successful TCP is an equal opportunity employer.
