Use age-appropriate drills and games to teach soccer fundamentals. Learn and deliver soccer curriculum provided by Soccer Stars. Provide individual attention to each child, ensuring skill development and personal growth. Create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all participants. Interact positively with children, parents, and staff to maintain open communication. Compensation: Pay ranges $22 per hour for Assistant Coach, $25 for Youth Coach, $30 for Lead Coach On the job training from $18 per hour. Experience working with children (coaching, teaching, childcare) preferred. Must have a passion for sports and a desire to inspire young athletes. Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with children. Flexible to work mornings, afternoons and weekends. Ability to travel to various class locations (up to 45 minutes away). CPR certification is a plus, but not required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local laws. Flexible schedules to fit your lifestyle. Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Event Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in organizing and executing events that enhance our programs and create memorable experiences for children and families. You will be helping promote classes and camps for all of our sports offerings - including flyering, assisting in various event logistics, collaborating with staff, and ensuring that each event runs smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events for our partner programs (including tabling, school fairs, and City events). Help coordinate event logistics, including venue setup, equipment management, and participant registration. Support the team in liaising with coaches, parents, and children to ensure clear communication and a positive experience for all. Assist with marketing efforts and promotion of events to boost participation and community engagement. Maintain accurate records of event attendance, supplies, and feedback for continuous improvement. Print flyers and deliver to coaches throughout the region. Be able to carry upwards of 20 pounds (including items, tables, and chairs). Work Schedule: The Event Assistant position requires flexibility to work weekends and evenings based on event schedules. Hours may vary depending on the events scheduled. 5-10 hours per week for 6 weeks (Seasonally). Position will be evaluated after each season. Outgoing and enjoys talking with people! Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. Passion for youth development is highly desirable. Basic knowledge of social media and marketing strategies is a plus. Minimum wage of $17.81/hr. Can make upwards of $180 a week (pending hours).
