Oversee and improve program management practices, mentor teams, and ensure project alignment with organizational goals. | Requires 8+ years in program management within the automotive industry, experience with OEMs, and leadership of a PMO, which your experience does not fully encompass. | Responsibilities The Director of Program Management will have oversight over all programs across the organization and will be responsible for establishing, implementing and controlling Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools to provide consistency in executing and meeting programs timelines and cost targets. The Director of Program Management will also coach, mentor and oversee the Program Management Team, ensuring they are supported and successfully engaging their business partners and program stakeholders to drive program execution. The Director of Program Management will have oversight over STRATTEC's Program Development Process (PDP) and will work with PDP phase owners to ensure that the PDP process and standard work tools are up to date and being adhered to. This leadership role is meant to navigate organizational complexity, prevent departmental silos, and implement best practice policies and procedures in a complex business and technology environment by developing and maintaining strong relationships with a variety of individuals across the organization within STRATTEC, our customers and partners. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Defines, develops, implements and provides oversight to program management practices, governance, standards, processes, tools and metrics. As well as driving periodic review and continuous improvement actions. • Ensures programs and projects are defined, tracked, managed, and communicated in a consistent and effective manner. • Incorporates effective risk management controls. • Drive decision-making with fact-based analytics and provide insights to senior leadership to support program management planning and execution. • Develop and implement resource planning processes to ensure appropriate resource and skills availability across programs • Strong ability to influence others and/or other parts of the organization without having direct oversight of those areas to drive overall organizational action • Direct, mentor, and partner with program managers, and other functional managers to drive continuous improvement in program management standardization and execution. • Identifies and recommends staff augmentation, either full-time or contract, to optimize support for the Program Management demand. • Update and improve STRATTEC's Program Development Process (PDP) working with PDP phase owners to ensure that the PDP process and standard work tools are up to date including specific requirements for OEM's when appropriate. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business operations, finance or related field • 8 years minimum in a Program Management and/or supervisory role within the automotive industry with a deep understanding of project management and finance. • 3 years leading or managing a project management office (PMO) • Experience with General Motors, Ford, Stellantis, and /or other OEMs, Tier 1 Automotive suppliers • Collaborates with and manages multiple stakeholders including functional process owners. • Strong business / financial acumen • P&L and general financial understanding • Adept in using financial analytics for business decisions • Consistently moves problems toward resolution and helps others do the same • Exhibits strong ethical values and drives this behavior in others • Potential for domestic and global travel up to 10% per year DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Master's Degree or MBA • PMI-PMP certification or equivalent • Lean certification • Business experience on a global scale • Exhibit a high level of energy and possess excellent interpersonal skills. • Excellent written, oral, presentation and facilitation skills. • Proven cross-functional / global leadership, coaching and influence skills.

SUMMARY Responsible for the implementation of customer product programs on time, within budget and at the highest quality levels according to customer requirements. Tracking and highlighting areas for improvement. Manages Program Timelines by directing, coordinating and communicating to all SSC internal functional groups, assigned to program, and Customer functional groups and platform teams. With minimal direct supervision, the duties assigned for completion are: • Release customer programs into Product Development Process (PDP) using electronic project management tools. • Plan and implement programs following PDP guidelines to manufacturing acceptance and full production. • Plan and implement SSC driven initiatives such as insourcing - manufacturing relocations - process automation that affects products in development or post SOP • Lead internal and customer communication to ensure all program related deliverables and expectations are met. • In conjunction with various functional groups, track customer program-related timing progress for capital & tooling. • Identify resource requirements to meet customer/program requirements and SSC business criteria. • Work with functional managers to communicate and prioritize resource requirements and expectations. • Lead and motivate team members to achieve team, SSC and customer goals. • Primary Program contact for Customer Management, Voice of the Customer, ensuring needs are clearly heard within the SSC organization. • Assist in creating and executing strategy to diversify customer base and assists to expand vehicle content • Drive continuous improvement process and customer satisfaction • Maintains program open issues records. • Maintains evidence of compliance; PDP/Program Books. • Manages change process as it affects the program, including changes post SOP • Resolve cross-functional disputes • Escalate issues and leads the cross functions in plans for issues resolution • Support piece price negotiations as they relate to product changes and cost downs. • Travel, as required. • Responsible for following all processes and procedures to support SSC policies and governmental regulations. • Responsible for product profitability award to launch with the objective of maximizing profit. • Ability to exercise Responsibility without direct Authority over various departments/groups.
