Assist with patient care, perform clinical procedures, and manage medical documentation in a primary care setting. | Requires medical assisting skills, knowledge of clinical procedures, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. | We are a fast paced, growing family practice in Rochester Hills seeking a full time Experienced Medical Assistant. The applicant must be self-motivated, self-directed, able to receive constructive criticism and apply it respectively. We strive for teamwork and seek the same with an emphasis on multitasking and positivity. We are looking for a Full time Experienced Medical Assistant. Duties include: • Patient care, vitals, rooming patients • Must be knowledgeable with computers/typing skills • Assist with minor procedures: cyst removal, mole removal, IUD insertion • Perform EKG's, Digital X-rays, clinical testing, autoclave, administer injections, childhood vaccines, diabetic testing, and lab draws • Verify patient demographics, attention to detail, and proper medical documentation • Stock and clean patient rooms and medical office Other duties include but not limited to: • Answering/Triaging calls • Medication/Refill requests/Medication Authorizations • Sending messages to the providers • Transferring calls Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Medical Specialty: • Primary Care Schedule: • Monday to Friday • Weekends as needed Ability to Commute: • Rochester Hills, MI 48309 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Rochester Hills, MI 48309: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
