The position will provide nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy to individual student-athletes, teams, and coaches; as well as nutrition focused performance assessment on both an individual and team basis. Additional responsibilities will include oversight and coordination of a student workforce to maintain the central and satellite fueling stations; review, provision and distribution of nutritional supplements to individual student-athletes and teams; as well as coordination of staff/program professional development opportunities. The position will report directly to the Assistant Athletics Director, Sports Nutrition, have a heavy emphasis in football, and serve as the team lead for assigned olympic teams.
