This role oversees planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and quality control to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on budget. Key Responsibilities • Lead all phases of industrial plumbing projects, including installations, retrofits, and upgrades. • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation plans. • Oversee subcontractors and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. • Serve as the primary client contact, managing communication and scope changes. • Review drawings/specs to prepare accurate estimates and bid proposals. • Perform material take-offs, solicit vendor pricing, and support bid submissions. • Mentor project staff and contribute to business development initiatives. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience accepted). • 7–10 years of industrial plumbing project management experience. • Proven success delivering large-scale industrial projects on time and within budget. • PMP certification or Master Plumber license preferred. • Strong understanding of plumbing systems, estimating software, and construction management tools. • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to travel to job sites and meet project deadlines. Pay Range: $70k-90k (depending on experience) Not a remote role – 8 hours first shift Position Overview: Project Managers are responsible for the successful completion of a project from preconstruction through project closeout within schedule and budget travelling to sites across MD, VA & DC. Responsibilities for Project Manager: Responsible for the preconstruction phase of assigned projects. Facilitates construction start through project closing as a liaison with the owner of assigned projects. Ensures timely award, preparation, and execution of competitive and complete subcontracts, professional service contracts, and purchase contracts. Prepares final construction budgets and reviews general contract. Conducts all progress meetings with clients, general contractors, and subcontractors. Prepares change orders and time extensions in a timely manner Prepares and maintains a change order log which will support and validate the projections on the change order cost report. Ensure the project schedule is prepared in a timely manner and represents the logical/detailed progression of work with reasonable time frames for completion of milestones and overall completion. Work closely with the preconstruction department during the preconstruction process to provide valuable input that will result in a successful project. Responsibilities include driving to and from project sites to the office and any other meetings that take place across MD, VA & DC. Qualifications for Project Manager: Four (4)-year degree in an accredited construction-related curriculum or experience equivalent to a 4-year degree preferred Cumulative total of at least five (5) years of progressive experience in building envelope solutions. Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects and teams. Demonstrated high level of achievement in the areas of project management, estimating, scheduling, budget/cost control, negotiation, field supervision, and financial reporting. Substantial knowledge with solicitation, negotiation, award, and management of subcontracts, including preparation of bid and subcontract scope language. Proficient with project management software, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project. Substantial knowledge of AIA contract documents.
