The Sr Data Reporting Analyst is responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets, creating comprehensive reports, and providing valuable insights into people data to meet customers' needs across the enterprise. This role will also provide consultation to users, work with cross-functional teams to bridge the gap between the business and divisional data teams, and create tools for analysis and reports that can be used effectively within the business environment. Responsibilities Manage data needs to support People Analytics in projects, maintenance, communication, and reporting, of the People data Research and analysis, provides recommendations, and supports People Analytics solutions Develop ad-hoc data reports, custom reports, and regularly scheduled reports that provide insight into key data points Collaborate with customers to understand data requirements, analyze data, and understand security roles Analyze reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to key stakeholders and senior Leaders Proactively monitor data to identify changes in business trends Mentor and train members on new processes, tools, and other work-related tasks Partner with customers to refine reports and interpret data findings Ensure data integrity is maintained by accurately interpreting variances and outliers to Leadership Ensure proper data security and privacy policies roles and policies are applied Resolve escalations or complex issues through research of discrepancies by interpreting and reconciling data for accurate reporting Develop automated processes to retrieve data May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information Knowledge of Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Management technologies and best practices Skilled in understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making Skilled in Data analysis and experience developing visual depictions of data trends Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problem Skilled in developing innovative and sustainable solutions Skilled in collecting, organizing, visualizing, and assimilating data Skilled in turning raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software Ability to identify problems and determine the best course of action for their resolution, including knowing when to communicate and engage others Ability to think analytically and proactively solve problems Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects demonstrating structured organization and astute attention to detail Ability to manage large data sets (retrieving data from multiple data sets, merging data sets, etc.) and apply complex rules to create custom indicators required Education Required: High School Diploma or GED Experience: Advanced level experience, developing skills and knowledge in: Relevant data/ analytical/problem-solving roles Experience in Workday Reporting/Calculations, Workday PRISM/ People Analytics, Workday Report Writer skills Advanced experience with data extraction, data cleaning, and data integration Preferred: Expert knowledge of Data Analytics to include Advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Python, etc. Preferred: Expert knowledge of Data Management such as SQL, ETL (e.g., Alteryx, SSIS, Informatica, Talend), Data Warehousing Preferred: Expert knowledge of Data Governance to include data lineage, metadata management, master data, and quality frameworks Preferred: Certifications in Workday HCM Core, Workday Report Writer, Workday Prism Analytics, Tableau / Power BI and Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) Licensing/Certifications: N/A Physical Abilities: Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job Other Qualifications: Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986 Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines Pay & Benefits Competitive market salary from $95,750 per year to $106,400 per year* depending on qualifications and experience.
