The Role We are hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to design and scale the systems behind our AI-driven platform, tackling some of the hardest problems in risk, trust, and safety. You'll be working directly with the founders and an exceptional engineering team to build world-class features and infrastructure. What You'll DoYou're a Good Fit If You: • Strong in Go (Golang) or Rust (preferred) • Care deeply about craftsmanship and building elegant, reliable systems • Have experience with distributed data stores (e.g. Cassandra, DynamoDB, Bigtable) • Know your way around streaming systems (e.g. Kafka, Pub/Sub) • Are excited to work with vector databases, LLMs, and real-time ML infrastructure • Take pride in ownership and shipping systems end-to-end Bonus Points For: • Education/Background: Strong math/CS fundamentals, academically solid • Knowledge of rate-limiting and abuse-prevention infrastructure • Next.js, TypeScript, React or Python • Experience running systems in Kubernetes or container-based environments Our Culture We believe in a culture of ownership, urgency, and craftsmanship.
