Design and implement agentic AI systems and automated workflows to improve productivity across business departments. | 8+ years software engineering with 2+ years in production AI/ML or LLM applications and proficiency in Python and agentic frameworks. | Why Socure? Socure is building the identity trust infrastructure for the digital economy — verifying 100% of good identities in real time and stopping fraud before it starts. The mission is big, the problems are complex, and the impact is felt by businesses, governments, and millions of people every day. We hire people who want that level of responsibility. People who move fast, think critically, act like owners, and care deeply about solving customer problems with precision. If you want predictability or narrow scope, this won’t be your place. If you want to help build the future of identity with a team that holds a high bar for itself — keep reading. About the Role Socure is building the future of trust for digital ecosystems. To accelerate our mission, we are expanding the platform to include agentic workflows and internal productivity tools that power innovation across the company. These systems will underpin how Socure builds, deploys, and scales AI-driven identity solutions while enabling internal teams to operate with speed, intelligence, and precision. Reporting to the Head of New Product Engineering, you'll join a new Internal AI Engineering team with a mandate to design and ship the agentic systems that reshape how Socure operates across sales, marketing, revenue ops, finance, talent, and legal. As a Staff AI Engineer on this team, you'll define what to build - not just execute what's been scoped. You'll be the first major internal partner building on Socure's Agentic AI Foundations platform - using its primitives to ship faster and providing the real-world pull-through that shapes its roadmap. By delivering intelligent automation and agentic workflows you will play a central role in Socure's transformation into an AI-native company, driving step-function gains in efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making across the enterprise. What You'll Do Prioritization of High-Impact Automation - Partner with business teams (e.g., Revenue Ops, Marketing, Finance Ops, Talent Acquisition) to catalog manual, high-frequency workflows and rank them by impact, feasibility, and urgency. Production Agent Design & Development - Build multi-step, tool-augmented agent workflows that can plan, execute, observe outcomes, and iteratively improve. Design and implement planner–executor and reflection-based architectures to enhance reasoning quality and task reliability. Develop stateful agent systems and incorporate human-in-the-loop controls, including approval gates, fallback paths, and escalation mechanisms. Platform Integration - Leverage the Agentic AI Foundations team's platform covering agent runtime, orchestration, memory, tool registry, guardrails, and observability. Provide feedback that shapes platform priorities. Innovation & Standards - Leverage LLMs, multi-agent frameworks, and orchestration platforms to create differentiated internal solutions that can't be bought off the shelf. Stay ahead of emerging AI technologies and regulatory frameworks to ensure Socure leads the industry in secure, compliant, and intelligent internal systems. Technical Patterns - Discover reusable agent design patterns while building real workflows and contribute them back to the Agentic AI Foundations paved paths so the work compounds across Socure. Operational Excellence - Leverage the evaluation harness and tracing substrate provided by Agentic AI Foundations for continuous performance assessment, failure-mode analysis, and optimization of speed and accuracy of specific agentic solutions. What We're Looking For Required 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML systems or LLM-powered applications in production. Deep hands-on experience with LLM APIs and at least one agentic framework (e.g. LangGraph, CrewAI or AutoGen). Strong Python skills and experience building production-grade backend services, APIs, and data pipelines. Proven ability to operate in ambiguity: you've walked into an undefined problem space, figured out what to build, built it, and measured the results. Experience shipping AI/automation solutions that directly impacted business operations. Strong systems thinking: you design for reliability, observability, and maintainability from day one, not as an afterthought. Ability to collaborate directly with non-technical business stakeholders to understand their actual workflows and translate those into technical solutions. Preferred Experience with multi-agent systems, workflow orchestration, or complex tool-use patterns in production. Familiarity with evaluation frameworks (e.g., LangSmith, Weights & Biases, Arize, or custom eval pipelines) for AI systems (agent reliability, accuracy benchmarking, failure-mode analysis). Experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases, knowledge graphs, or memory/grounding systems. Experience with real-time or streaming AI systems. Familiarity with AI safety and security practices, including prompt injection prevention, hallucinations mitigation and data protection/privacy. Background in a regulated industry (fintech, healthcare, government) where compliance and security review processes are standard. Experience with agent skill abstraction and structured tool integration via MCP (Model Context Protocol), function calling or similar protocols. Experience with AWS-hosted LLM infrastructure (Bedrock, AgentCore/Strands, Lambda, SageMaker) or equivalent cloud ML services. Translate design concepts into performant, reusable front-end web components while enforcing design system consistency. | 4+ years front-end development experience with proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and headless CMS platforms. | Why Socure? Socure is building the identity trust infrastructure for the digital economy — verifying 100% of good identities in real time and stopping fraud before it starts. The mission is big, the problems are complex, and the impact is felt by businesses, governments, and millions of people every day. We hire people who want that level of responsibility. If you want to help build the future of identity with a team that holds a high bar for itself — keep reading. The Work Socure is rebuilding the way the world understands identity. That means our website isn't a brochure — it's an argument. A proof point. A demonstration of what it looks like when infrastructure is actually intelligent. We're looking for a Front-End Web Developer who doesn't just implement designs — they elevate them. Someone who bridges the gap between what a designer imagines and what a browser renders, and who holds the bar high enough that those two things are indistinguishable. This role will be central to the launch of a fully redesigned Socure.com and will own the front-end quality bar for everything that follows. Location Requirements: We are currently only able to hire candidates located in one of our location hubs: New York City, NY; Washington, DC; Seattle, WA; Miami, FL; San Francisco, CA. What You'll Do Translate high-fidelity design concepts into pixel-precise, performant web experiences Partner closely with brand and creative leadership to ensure design intent survives the build process — including motion, interaction, type rendering, and spacing Build and maintain reusable front-end components that scale across a fast-moving marketing site Own the front-end relationship with our external creative partners, ensuring handoffs are clean and implementation is airtight Contribute to and help enforce a design system with real rigor — not just a Figma library, but a living, documented framework Audit and optimize for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser fidelity without sacrificing visual quality Work fluidly across headless CMS environments, static builds, and custom code as the project demands What You Bring 4+ years of front-end development experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates genuine design sensibility — not just working code, but beautiful working code Deep expertise in HTML, CSS (including modern layout systems, custom properties, and animation), and JavaScript/TypeScript Experience building marketing or brand sites where visual craft is a first-class concern Comfort with component-based frameworks (React preferred) Hands-on experience with contemporary headless CMS platforms — Contentful is the primary environment here; familiarity with Sanity, Prismic, Storyblok, or similar is a plus An eye for type rendering, spacing systems, motion timing, and the micro-details that separate a good site from a great one Experience working with design files at a high level of fidelity — you can look at a Figma frame and immediately understand what will be hard and why Ability to push back constructively on designs that won't translate well, and propose solutions that preserve intent Bonus Experience embedding rich, interactive experiences within a web environment — data visualizations, scroll-driven narratives, live demos, or other in-page interactivity that goes beyond static content Experience with WebGL, Three.js, or canvas-based animation Familiarity with data-driven or enterprise SaaS marketing environments Prior work on brand-defining redesign projects Socure is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity in all its forms within our company.
