Lead product strategy and execution for digital and cloud-native software products focusing on customer experience and technical innovation. | Over 10 years of product management experience with expertise in cloud-native solutions and cross-functional collaboration but no direct experience in compute engines or data analytics infrastructure. | Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential — and people too. With a culture that’s all in on impact, innovation, and collaboration, Snowflake is the sweet spot for building big, moving fast, and taking technology — and careers — to the next level. Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud is the unified platform and connected ecosystem of organizations building, using and sharing data, apps and AI. Powering the AI Data Cloud is Snowflake’s single platform. Its unique architecture connects businesses globally, at practically any scale to bring data and workloads together. At the heart of Snowflake’s platform is our compute engine that processes billions of queries daily for thousands of the world's largest organizations. This compute engine is handling diverse workloads from analytics, data engineering to powering Snowflake’s AI Cortex agents. But we aren't stopping here. We are building the next evolution of our compute engine: the smartest, most efficient, and most adaptable cloud compute layer ready to support the next generation of enterprise data and AI applications at scale. We are seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead the compute engine for Snowflake's Data & AI cloud. In this role, you will lead the strategy and execution for the compute platform, owning a portfolio that ranges from our foundational standard and Gen2 warehouses to high-performance Snowpark-optimized compute clusters to serverless compute. In This Role, You Will: • Define the Vision: Own the product strategy and long-term roadmap for the compute layer that powers our core Analytics and Data Engineering businesses. You will influence how Snowflake processes the world's data. • Architect for the Future: Partner deeply with senior engineers and architects to innovate the underlying system and to keep our platform best-in-class. • Drive both 0-to-1 and scale execution: Spearhead the 0-to-1 launch and maturation of Adaptive Warehouses, driving the shift toward next-generation, serverless-style elasticity. • Drive Execution & Alignment: Serve as the central point of influence across the organization. You will synthesize disparate data points, technical opinions, and executive direction into a cohesive, actionable plan. • Uncover Insights: Utilize data-driven governance to track key metrics (performance, utilization, margins) and uncover usage patterns that inform our next big bet. • Partner with Customers: Collaborate directly with Platform Architects at our largest enterprise customers to validate designs, gather feedback via preview programs, and solve their most critical scale challenges. Our Ideal Candidate Has: • Experience: 10+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 5+ years specifically building data analytics products or cloud compute infrastructure. Bonus, direct experience with designing compute engines for analytics and/or data engineering products! • Systems Thinking: The ability to decompose complex technical problems. You are comfortable diving deep into cloud and data architectures, API contracts, query semantics, and distributed systems. • Cross-Org Leadership: A proven track record of "leading through influence." You can drive alignment across distinct cross-functional teams and present confidently to VPs and C-level leadership. • Customer Empathy: A passion for "Ease of Use." You understand the friction points of analytics and data engineering and possess a relentless desire to deliver the best data warehousing solutions. • Modern Prototyping Skills: Comfort using modern AI and design tools to rapidly mock up wireframes, prototypes, and PRDs to visualize complex workflows. • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
