Manage and optimize large-scale Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization and hyper-converged infrastructure environments. | 5+ years supporting Microsoft Hyper-V, expertise in hyper-converged infrastructure and high-speed networking. | Benefits: Competitive salary Location Remote Experience Level Senior Level (5 or more years of experience) Role Overview The Senior Infrastructure Engineer supports a large-scale, multi-tenant hosting environment built on Microsoft Hyper-V and hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI). This role manages and maintains multi-cluster virtualization environments supporting hosted workloads across multiple tenants, high-performance 100Gb fiber networking, and storage components. This is a short-term (1 to 2-month) contract engagement requiring immediate availability, exceptional communication skills, and rapid onboarding ability. Key Responsibilities Hyper-V Virtualization & Multi-Tenant Administration • Manage, maintain, and optimize Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization across a large-scale, multi-cluster hosting environment. • Administer multi-tenant infrastructure, ensuring proper workload, network, and resource isolation across hosted environments. • Support infrastructure deployments, cluster upgrades, data migrations, and performance optimizations. Hyper-Converged Infrastructure & High-Speed Networking • Administer hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) integrating compute, storage, virtualization, and networking resources. • Manage and support high-performance 100Gb fiber networking and high-speed connectivity between infrastructure nodes. • Monitor system health, performance metrics, storage capacity, and overall infrastructure availability. Troubleshooting & Infrastructure Operations • Troubleshoot complex technical issues across virtualization layers, server hardware, storage arrays, and high-speed networks. • Ensure high availability, redundancy, and scalability across multi-cluster hosted environments. • Document operational procedures, infrastructure configurations, and technical troubleshooting guides. Required Qualifications • 5 or more years of experience supporting Microsoft Hyper-V in enterprise or multi-tenant hosting environments. • Strong hands-on experience managing clustered and multi-cluster virtualization environments. • Demonstrated expertise with hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) technology stacks. • Deep understanding of enterprise networking, including high-speed fiber and 100Gb network environments. • Experience administering multi-tenant environments, including tenant isolation strategies and resource allocation. • Advanced troubleshooting capabilities across servers, virtualization, storage networks, and clustering. • Immediate availability for a short-term (1 to 2-month) contract engagement. Preferred Qualifications • Located in or near the Tri-State area (NY, NJ, CT). • Experience in cloud hosting provider, managed service provider (MSP), or data center environments. • Relevant Microsoft or networking certifications. Provide senior-level technical support for enterprise technology modernization including infrastructure and cloud platform management. | 4+ years experience in Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, PowerShell, and endpoint management tools like Intune. | Benefits: Competitive salary Location Salem, OR Experience Level Mid–Senior Level (4 or more years of experience) Role Overview The Systems Administrator provides senior-level technical expertise to support enterprise technology modernization initiatives, including data center modernization and endpoint platform transitions. This role manages core infrastructure, cloud platforms, identity services, endpoint deployments, and server environments while providing Tier III operational support. The position runs from September 2026 through February 2027, with potential for extension. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Identity Administration • Administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. • Manage network infrastructure services, including DNS and DHCP configurations, domain consolidations, and identity modernization. • Support server migrations, infrastructure modernizations, and cloud platform integrations. Endpoint Management & Deployment • Administer Microsoft Intune, Group Policy (GPO), and enterprise endpoint management systems to support workstation deployments and device lifecycles. • Execute Windows imaging, endpoint configurations, and workstation platform transition projects across enterprise users. • Troubleshoot complex endpoint, operating system, and deployment issues. Operations, Documentation, & Tier III Support • Provide Tier III technical support and day-to-day systems administration across enterprise platforms. • Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials. • Participate in pilot deployments, production implementations, system testing, and operational readiness evaluations. Required Qualifications • 4 or more years of experience in Windows Server administration and Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID management. • 4 or more years of experience administering Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, and enterprise cloud infrastructure. • 4 or more years of experience with Microsoft Intune, Group Policy (GPO), and enterprise Windows workstation deployment. • 4 or more years of experience utilizing PowerShell scripting for administration, automation, and troubleshooting. • 4 or more years of experience with core network protocols and services, including DNS and DHCP. • 4 or more years of experience producing technical documentation, SOPs, and performing Tier III troubleshooting. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Workspace ONE and VMware virtualization platforms. • Prior experience executing enterprise infrastructure modernization projects or server migrations. • Public sector or government IT systems administration experience. • Relevant Microsoft professional certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Enterprise Administrator).
