WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are seeking a Senior Manager, Treasury Operations to focus on operational execution and infrastructure build-out, partnering closely with Slate’s Head of Treasury on strategy, capital structure, and external financing matters. This role will drive the operationalization of our Treasury Operating Model, as recommended by our external advisors, and will serve as the connective tissue across internal and external stakeholders to implement scalable cash, banking, and risk infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a hands-on builder who thrives in ambiguity and brings a structured, execution-focused approach. WHAT YOU GET TO DO Strategic Program Ownership & Transformation Serve as the internal lead for implementation of Slate’s Treasury Operating Model, managing coordination with external consultants and internal stakeholders. Translate recommendations into success metrics, timelines, and control checkpoints for each workstream, and regularly report progress, risks, and dependencies to Finance leadership. Build scalable processes and controls across core Treasury functions. Cash & Liquidity Management Oversee daily and weekly cash positioning, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with FP&A and Accounting. Lead the design and ongoing optimization of short-term liquidity management strategies, including cash sweeps, pooling, and forecasting tools. Banking & Treasury Infrastructure Manage the company’s global banking infrastructure, including account architecture, signatory controls, and bank administration. Own implementation and maintenance of Virtual Account Management (VAM), payment systems, and other treasury technology integrations (e.g., NetSuite, banking portals). Act as operational point of contact for banking partners and maintain key relationships in partnership with AP and AR. Customer Deposit Governance Design and maintain internal controls and reconciliation processes over customer deposits. Support readiness for ABL or other structured credit facilities that may rely on deposit governance and cash controls. Treasury Policy & Risk Controls Implement and maintain key Treasury policies (e.g., Cash Investment, Payment Authorization, Banking Access, Dual Approvals). Partner with Legal and Accounting to ensure policies are risk-aligned and audit-ready. Cross-Functional Integration Coordinate closely with FP&A, Accounting, AP, Legal, Tax, and IT to ensure treasury processes are embedded into enterprise workflows. Provide operational perspective on treasury-related implications of evolving business operations (e.g., new customer programs, international operations, fleet sales). Reporting & Analytics Develop and maintain standardized reporting dashboards for Treasury KPIs, including cash visibility, liquidity runway, covenant tracking, and banking fees. Partner with FP&A to integrate treasury reporting into broader financial planning models. Systems & Technology Enablement Drive selection, implementation, and optimization of treasury technologies and integrations. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM 8-12 years of progressive experience in Corporate Treasury, Finance, or related functions Experience in high-growth, lean, or transformation-stage environments strongly preferred Strong understanding of treasury operations, banking systems, cash flow forecasting, and controls Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and manage external advisors Familiarity with NetSuite, banking portals, and treasury management systems is a plus Excellent communication and organizational skills WHY JOIN TEAM SLATE? WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Slate is seeking a highly capable and execution-focused Senior Manager, Commercial FP&A to lead financial planning, reporting, and analysis for our Vehicle Sales and Service business. This role will be responsible for unit economics analysis, inventory reporting, and revenue forecasting, delivering critical insights that help leadership manage sales performance and optimize profitability. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous automotive experience, strong financial modeling skills, and a process-oriented mindset, who is excited to own and evolve a full P&L planning process in a rapidly scaling business. The role reports to the Director of Commercial FP&A and collaborates closely with Sales, Operations, and accounting teams. WHAT YOU GET TO DO Own end-to-end financial planning and reporting for Vehicle Sales, including forecasts, budgets, and monthly performance reviews. Partner with the Commercial Service Team to manage service, warranty and collision sales. Develop and maintain reporting and analysis for price, volume, and mix (PVM), gross margins, and key business KPIs. Build strong partnerships with eCommerce, Product, and Marketing leaders to align business drivers and translate them into financial impacts. Support implementation and refinement of financial tools and reporting processes using Adaptive Planning and NetSuite. Help develop and scale planning processes, dashboards, and data sources to support ongoing growth in the Revenue and Margin business. Contribute to business cases, scenario modeling, and decision support for new product launches and marketing initiatives. Collaborate with the Director of Commercial FP&A and other Finance leaders to support consolidated reporting and insights. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 8+ years of experience in a finance, accounting, or financial operations-focused role with exposure to planning, forecasting, or performance reporting. Strong comfort with financial systems and tools—experience with Adaptive Planning and NetSuite is a plus. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Who We Are Looking For Slate is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Vehicle Safety, Homologation, and Regulatory Compliance to lead our efforts in establishing a robust vehicle safety foundation and standardizing our approach to vehicle safety. This role is critical in ensuring that our vehicles are engineered, tested, and validated to meet the highest safety standards, protecting our customers and enhancing our brand reputation. What You Get To Do • Strategic Leadership: Further develop and implement a comprehensive vehicle homologation and certification process and plan that aligns with the company's mission and objectives. Establish long-term safety goals and ensure continuous improvement in vehicle safety performance. • Direct and Guide Team: Direct and guide the existing Homologation and Certification Team and establish a robust homologation and certification process with standardized methods and tools. • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all vehicles comply with relevant safety regulations and standards, including FMVSS, NHTSA, CARB / EPA, and international regulations, if required. • Safety Engineering: Work in tandem with the Safety Systems engineering and Virtual Validation teams to support the homologation and certification process for vehicles, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards with laser focus on crash worthiness and occupant protection performance. • Testing and Validation: Oversee the development and execution of rigorous testing and validation protocols, including crash testing, and real-world evaluations. Ensure all safety tests are thoroughly documented and analyzed. • Standardization: Develop and implement standardized safety procedures and protocols across all vehicle programs. Ensure consistency in safety practices and adherence to best practices. • Champion: Lead leadership cross functional discussions and decisions on product integrity topics. Be the first line of communication with the automotive regulatory and safety authorities (i.e., NHTSA, IIHS, CARB / EPA, etc.). • Incident Investigation: Conduct field investigations into safety-related incidents, identifying root causes and working with attorneys on field incidents. Develop and maintain a robust incident reporting and analysis system. • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, and Quality, to ensure safety is integrated into all stages of vehicle development and production. • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development for employees on vehicle safety standards, technologies, and best practices. Promote a culture of safety within the organization. • Innovation: Stay updated on the latest advancements in vehicle safety technologies and regulations. Drive innovation in safety features and processes to maintain a competitive edge. • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on vehicle safety performance, incidents, and improvements to senior management and regulatory authorities. What You Bring To The Team • Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field is required. Master's degree is preferred. • Experience: 15+ years of experience in vehicle safety engineering, testing, regulatory compliance, and product liability within the automotive industry. • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and expertise in FMVSS, NHTSA, CARB / EPA, and other relevant safety standards and regulations. • Product Liability Knowledge: In depth knowledge and expertise in automotive product liability. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in safety testing methodologies, crash simulation tools, and validation techniques. • Leadership: Proven leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences. • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing safety issues.
