Position Summary As a Senior Content Strategist, NP at Sketchy, you will lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of our educational content across a range of platforms and learner types, with a focus on NP and other APP learners. You will craft and execute content strategies that blend pedagogical excellence with innovation, ensuring all content is engaging, accurate, and aligned with Sketchy’s mission. Serving as a strategic partner across teams, you will champion new approaches—including, but not limited to —advances in technology, user experience, and competency assessment, ensuring Sketchy remains at the forefront of health and science education. Responsibilities Content Strategy & Leadership • Develop and lead content strategies that serve diverse learner needs and align with Sketchy’s brand, vision, and educational goals. • Ensure pedagogical soundness, scientific accuracy, and editorial quality across all content formats and initiatives. • Represent the Nurse Practitioner perspective to drive creation of content that serves the unique needs of NP learners. • Identify opportunities for innovation, including new content types, technologies, or delivery methods to improve learning outcomes and engagement. Cross-Functional Partnership • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and subject matter experts to define requirements and bring new educational experiences to life. • Act as a bridge between Content and other teams, translating business goals, user research, and technological advances into actionable content strategies. • Support the implementation and communication of new content initiatives—whether AI-driven, consumer-facing, or otherwise—across relevant teams. User & Market Engagement • Represent Sketchy to students, educators, and external stakeholders through webinars, events, and other forums. • Gather and synthesize user feedback via research, focus groups, and analytics to drive content improvements. • Monitor industry and educational trends to keep Sketchy’s offerings current and compelling. Thought Leadership & Continuous Improvement • Advocate for best practices in education, visual learning, and responsible technology adoption. • Contribute to Sketchy’s culture of innovation and quality by sharing knowledge, mentoring others, and participating in professional development. • Stay informed about industry trends in medical and scientific education, visual learning, and AI-driven content. What We’re Looking For 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, with at least 1–2 years working directly with AI/ML systems in production. Must Have: Proficiency with LLM frameworks and libraries (LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent), vector databases, RAG pipelines, and evaluation frameworks. Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), containerization (Docker), and APIs. Familiarity with modern backend languages and frameworks (Node.js, Python, or Typescript/NestJS). Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex AI concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
