Skanska USA Civil is seeking a strategic and innovative National Director of Talent Acquisition to lead and evolve our national recruiting function. In this high-impact leadership role, you will partner with executive leadership, HR, and operations teams to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies that support business growth, workforce planning, project staffing, and long-term organizational capability. You will oversee a national team of Talent Acquisition professionals while driving employer branding, workforce forecasting, recruiting technology, AI-enabled solutions, and talent pipeline development. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience leading large-scale talent acquisition organizations, building recruiting programs in complex project-based environments, and using workforce analytics to guide business decisions. Success in this role requires executive-level influence, expertise in recruiting technology and talent strategy, and a passion for creating exceptional candidate experiences while delivering measurable business results. National Director of Talent Acquisition Required Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, or Human Resources. 5+ years leading multi-region or national Talent Acquisition teams and functions. Proven success leading national or multi-region Talent Acquisition strategy and operations. Experience building and scaling recruiting programs in complex, project-based environments (heavy civil construction preferred). Demonstrated expertise in workforce planning, talent pipelining, and strategic sourcing. Strong experience leveraging recruiting metrics, workforce analytics, and labor market insights to drive business decisions. Deep knowledge and experience leading recruitment technology, ATS platforms, CRM tools, and AI-enabled solutions. Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and key stakeholders.
