Job Overview We’re hiring a Community & Events Manager to architect and execute how SimpleClosure shows up in real life across the startup ecosystem. This is not a traditional events or logistics role. It’s a relationship-first, execution-heavy role where events are the medium and brand, trust, and revenue impact are the outcome. You’ll be responsible for orchestrating everything from high-visibility Tech Week moments to intimate, curated dinners with founders, VCs, lawyers, and operators. When SimpleClosure hosts or co-hosts something, it should feel thoughtful, intentional, and unmistakably premium. People should leave saying, “That was a valuable use of my time and really well done.” This role sits at the intersection of brand, partnerships, and revenue. The right person will materially shape how SimpleClosure is perceived and will directly influence pipeline, trust, and category leadership. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll embed SimpleClosure deeply into the founder, VC, lawyer, and operator communities that matter most to us. You’ll build authentic partnerships across our ecosystem and lead the charge in creating events that partners want to host with us, because they’re creative, valuable, and drive real outcomes for everyone involved. *Ideal candidates MUST be located in the Los Angeles metro area.
