Job Description Sika is searching for an experienced National Sales Manager, Distribution to join our growing team. In this role, the National Sales Manager, Distribution is responsible for developing, leading and executing Sika's U.S. distribution strategy across the industry portfolio. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, this position serves as the central point of accountability for indirect sales performance and transforms distribution from a transactional sales outlet to strategic growth driving market share gains, and margin improvements. Roles & Opportunities Sika is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to join our growing team, At Sika, the Key Account Manager will manage the planning, coordination, and execution of sales programs for assigned accounts. Additionally, the Key Account Manager will develop and optimize opportunities for growth, supporting Program Management directly. Insure Customer specific activities are consistent with Automotive Unit Sales Delivering Sales Presentations to clients Executing agreed upon sales strategy Incorporating core competencies including problem solving, consultative selling etc. Preferred Skills Requires minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required preferably in business or engineering Minimum five years of progressive Sales experience Proven experience handling Honda or other Japanese OEM customers, with a strong understanding of Japanese business culture and relationship management Familiarity with adhesives, sealants, or acoustics in the automotive industry preferred Job Description Develop annual and three year strategic sales plans for assigned accounts Assist in the development of annual budget and action plans for assigned accounts Achieve sales goals, EBIT objectives and growth objectives on an annual basis Prepare and present formal and informal presentations and seminars supporting the customer’s requirements Insure effective management and resolution of issues related to customer service responsibilities including invoicing, re-bills, debits/credits Customer response effectiveness Perform special projects and other duties as required by the Director and VP of Sales Qualifications Qualifications/Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, preferably in business or engineering field Minimum five years of progressively responsible sales experience in which the candidate must have demonstrated a proven track record in achieving specific goals.
