MAC Administration & Support Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled MAC System Administrator to join our global IT team and support a diverse, professional employee base utilizing Apple macOS devices. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in Apple technologies, enterprise management tools, and cross-platform integration to ensure seamless productivity for employees around the world. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills, as the administrator will work closely with end users and internal IT stakeholders to maintain a secure, efficient, and reliable MAC environment.initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Provide day-to-day administration, configuration, and support for macOS devices across a global workforce. • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for MAC users in office, remote, and hybrid environments. • Manage and maintain enterprise mobility management (EMM/MDM) solutions (e.g., Jamf Pro, Kandji, or Intune). Infrastructure & Systems Integration • Ensure integration and interoperability of MAC systems with corporate infrastructure, including Active Directory, VPN, collaboration tools (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace), and enterprise applications. • Oversee deployment of security patches, OS upgrades, and application updates globally. • Maintain consistent user profiles, policies, and access controls across multiple geographies. Security & Compliance • Implement and enforce endpoint security standards, encryption, and compliance policies. • Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities, ensuring alignment with firmwide security requirements. • Partner with global information security teams to address emerging risks and threats. Operational Excellence • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), knowledge base articles, and user documentation. • Support procurement, asset management, and lifecycle management of Apple hardware. • Collaborate with regional IT support teams to deliver a seamless user experience across time zones. Strategic Initiatives • Evaluate and recommend new tools, workflows, and best practices for MAC fleet management. • Partner with IT leadership to standardize MAC environments globally. • Provide input into strategic IT projects and contribute to cross-platform initiatives. Qualifications • 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting macOS devices in an enterprise environment. • Deep knowledge of macOS administration, including file systems, networking, user profiles, and application management. • Expertise with EMM/MDM platforms (Jamf, Kandji, Intune, or equivalent). • Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments, including Active Directory, identity management, and endpoint security. • Experience with scripting and automation (Bash, Python, or AppleScript). • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose hardware/software issues remotely and onsite. • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide high-quality customer service to non-technical end users. • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience. Preferred Qualifications • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, etc.). • Certifications such as Jamf 200/300, ACSP (Apple Certified Support Professional), or equivalent. • Exposure to Windows/Linux environments and cross-platform IT support. • Experience with collaboration platforms (Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom) and productivity suites.
