Our Designers collaborate closely with Copywriters, Strategists, and Developers to create highly dynamic experiences that stand out in the inbox. Though we have a work from almost anywhere framework, this role works east coast hours. Responsibilities • Design compelling emails and work alongside developers to create template systems. • Collaborate with writers to create unified messaging. • Validate designs through research and insights to curate the best UX. • Prioritize creating accessible, inclusive designs. • Stay up-to-date on email marketing trends and best practices. • Cultivate a strong understanding of the client’s brand to transcend the BAU. • Clearly and confidently communicate ideas to the internal team and clients. • Identify opportunities for design testing and optimization. • Prep files for development handoffs and perform quality assurance on final designs. • Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. • Identify risks and issues and troubleshoot the root cause, escalating as appropriate. • Manage direct reports including: recruiting, onboarding, ongoing training, 1:1 coaching and performance management. Qualifications • 8+ years experience as a Designer or similar role. • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud. • Experience mentoring or managing team members. • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices and industry trends. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Working knowledge of WCAG as it applies to email. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Experience with luxury brands or the Financial Services industry is preferred. As required by law, Shift Paradigm provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, New Jersey or Washington. The salary range for these residents is $85,000.00 to $98,000.00.
