Job Summary The Sales Operations Manager drives operational efficiency, sales strategy execution, and business performance for the Commercial Expansion Team — the group responsible for SharkNinja's US and Canadian distributor business and downstream retailer, e-tailer, and dealer partners. This is a hands-on, analytical role: you'll own forecasting, inventory, and trade spend rigor while building strong working relationships with distributor replenishment teams. Success requires someone who's comfortable owning ambiguous, under-resourced processes and building the systems and cadences that don't yet exist. Key Accountabilities POS and shipment forecasting · inventory management · purchase order execution · POS and trend analysis · trade spend forecasting and management Responsibilities Forecasting & Planning Manage assortment, forecast, pricing, and promotions at the SKU level within the internal forecasting tool Create and present a monthly rolling forecast consensus presentation to cross-functional teams and leadership Partner with demand planning, supply planning, channel management, and sales on forecasting, inventory planning, order management, and supply chain execution Coordinate distributor domestic and import order timing with supply chain, aligning on planning and availability dates Performance Reporting & Analysis Build and maintain sales dashboards and reports tracking sales performance, promotional efficiency, and trade spend Deliver weekly shipment and POS recaps with insights and recommendations for the sales team Lead weekly business reviews with distributor replenishment teams, evaluating performance against benchmarks and identifying the drivers behind sales gains or shortfalls Provide a monthly financial update with deep-dive analysis on key operational and sales performance metrics Trade Spend & Customer Engagement Partner with the Sales Director on trade spend management, including event creation, spend tracking, and chargeback reconciliation Partner with the Sales Director and Account Managers to build customer presentations, monthly business reviews, and weekly flash reports Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years in buying, planning, sales operations, or sales management, ideally in consumer products or wholesale/distributor channels Strong Excel and data analysis skills; comfortable building and maintaining forecasting models and dashboards Working proficiency in PowerPoint for building leadership- and customer-facing presentations Clear written and verbal communicator, comfortable presenting to both internal leadership and external customer teams Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, resource-lean environment Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and comfort operating independently with limited hand-holding Preferred Experience working with distributor or wholesale channel partners (rather than only direct retail accounts) Familiarity with EDI/POS reporting tools and ERP or forecasting systems #LI-Remote Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is displayed below. As a Demand Lead, you sit at the intersection of data, commercial strategy, and cross-functional execution. You'll synthesize demand signals across channels and categories into a coherent, pressure-tested outlook — and use AI-enabled workflows to surface insights faster and drive better decisions. Key Responsibilities Forecast & Demand Intelligence Synthesize demand signals across accounts, categories, and channels into a pressure-tested gross sales outlook Drive regular trend vs. forecast reviews incorporating sell-through dynamics, retailer inventory health, and new product performance Build constrained vs. unconstrained demand scenarios and support monthly phasing and NPD financial hedges Identify demand risks and opportunities and partner with stakeholders to recommend and drive corrective action AI-Enabled Analytics & Insights Use AI tools — including Claude and AI-powered BI platforms — as core workflow infrastructure, not a supplementary step Build and maintain AI-assisted recurring analysis: automated reporting, scenario modeling, anomaly detection, and narrative generation Translate complex data into clear, business-relevant narratives that drive decisions across commercial, supply, and finance leadership Proactively prototype AI applications that raise team analytical throughput and surface insights traditional approaches would miss Support what-if scenario planning as commercial priorities shift, leveraging AI to model outcomes faster Cross-Functional Partnership Partner with Sales, Supply Planning, Finance, and Product Development to gather inputs, align assumptions, and drive accountability in the forecast Own the demand review process with Supply Planning to ensure cross-functional alignment before demand signals are actioned downstream Bring insights and risks to the right stakeholders early — not after the fact Support monthly commercial planning reviews and IBP consensus planning Process & Tool Evolution Build, refine, and adapt planning processes and reporting frameworks as the team and business evolve Help establish and track planning KPIs: forecast accuracy, bias, attainment, and inventory health Bring forward practical AI and automation applications that raise team capability — not just your own What We're Looking For We're looking for people who combine analytical sharpness with a genuine curiosity for demand and commercial planning — and who have already started building fluency with AI as a real work tool.
