SFMC Home Lending is currently hiring for a Loan Officer Associate. The Loan Officer Associate provides assistance to a designated Loan Officer(s) in originating and processing loans. Duties include: Following up on leads for potential borrowers Assisting the Loan Officer in pre-qualifying potential borrowers Coordinating receipt of a complete and accurate loan application package Communicating effectively and quickly to all parties, both internally and externally, about timelines and expectations to ensure all loans close on time Following up with borrowers for items needed for loan submission Execution of disclosures and submission of loan file for processing Manage the Loan Officer(s) calendar, including follow-up, appointment setting and time blocking as appropriate. Manage the CRM, including follow-ups with warm leads and closed loans. Pipeline management, including scheduled pipeline reviews, daily tracking and weekly status calls to customers. Utilization of designated Sales tools and reporting methods Texas NMLS License is required Weekend Availability required High School diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of mortgage experience or related position. Knowledge and understanding of the lending process, federal and state law, and various loan products and guidelines. Skills: Excellent customer service skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong written and oral communication skills, including interpersonal skills. Attention to detail. Ability to adhere to established processes and checklists. Problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Ability to multitask and manage one’s time under pressure in a high volume environment. Flexibility and adaptability in a fluid and rapidly changing environment. PC skills, including MS Office products and other software. High level of integrity, ethics, discretion and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information. Sales aptitude is a plus. The Branch Support Manager is responsible for ensuring optimal execution of branch processes and managing assigned direct reports. Duties include overseeing daily operations, managing the branch pipeline, and assisting with training and development. | Candidates should have 3+ years of mortgage experience and 3+ years of management experience is strongly preferred. SFMC Home Lending is currently hiring for a Branch Support Manager. The Branch Support Manager is responsible for ensuring that the branch/team processes and role functions are executed optimally in those branches without in-branch processing. They will have direct management of assigned direct reports in regard to staffing, training, performance appraisal, corrective action, policies and procedures, company products, and compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies. Duties include: Managing the Contact to Contract to Closing systems. Serving as a liaison between Referral Partners, Loan Officers, LOA’s, Corporate Processing, Underwriting, Operations, Sales, and Post-Closing as part of monitoring the branch pipeline. Directing and overseeing the daily operations and workflows of direct reports, including individual pipeline management, overall production, quality, resolving daily file issues and providing detailed instructions. Assist with the training and development of LOA’s within the branch. Working on long-range projects, process improvement and communicating updates as appropriate. Other duties as assigned by leadership. 3+ years of mortgage experience, including all areas of the loan process and process improvement, as well as a thorough knowledge of FHA, Conventional, VA and USDA product financing. 3+ years of previous management experience is strongly preferred. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diversity of audiences. Big picture vision with the ability to simultaneously see the incremental steps necessary to achieve goals. Proven ability to influence and manage strong personalities to achieve results without hierarchal authority. Demonstrated problem-solving ability. Strong planning and organization skills, to include identifying strategies, setting priorities, goals and work schedules, creating and implementing action plans, monitoring/tracking progress, and evaluating progress and results. Must have attention to detail and customer service focus. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strict time requirements. Proficient with MS Office, with a knowledge of industry automation and software. High level of integrity, ethics, discretion and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information.
