Provide security support for FBI IT systems, ensuring compliance, maintaining documentation, and acting as a point of contact for system security. | Requires extensive experience in system security, compliance, and federal security standards, with a TS clearance and SCI eligibility. | Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) Full Time, Washington, DC TS clearance with /SCI eligibility required **This position is contingent upon contract award** Job Description: The ISSO will provide comprehensive security support for FBI IT systems throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with SAA requirements and maintaining system Authorization to Operate (ATO). Key Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and maintain SAA documentation, including risk assessments and ATO packages. Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of per FBI and federal policies. Conduct continuous monitoring and compliance activities to maintain system security. Respond to agency and federal data calls, including vulnerability and patch reporting. Act as the primary point of contact for system owners regarding security posture and compliance. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree and 8 years of relevant experience. Experience in system security documentation, compliance, and continuous monitoring. Knowledge of NIST RMF, FISMA, and federal security standards. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to obtain and maintain SCI access. Estimated Locations: NCR (J. Edgar Hoover Building): Majority of ISSOs will be based here. HSV (FBI Campus): Support for systems at the FBI Campus. This individual will act as the primary point of contact with FBI representatives and ensure the successful execution of all program objectives. Key Responsibilities: Manage all teams within the ISaaS program, ensuring alignment with FBI policies and objectives. Oversee program schedules, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring compliance with performance standards. Develop and implement Quality Assurance Programs for all products and services. Supervise and train personnel, ensuring team readiness and adherence to FBI security requirements. Perform risk assessments, identify business threats, and develop strategies to mitigate risks to systems and data.
