This individual will play a key role in designing and developing scalable applications that support trading, investment research, analytics, and business-critical workflows. The position offers direct interaction with investment professionals and provides the opportunity to build technology solutions that drive business outcomes in a fast-paced financial environment. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain front office applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability • Partner with business users, investment professionals, and technology teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions • Build and support full stack applications utilizing modern software development frameworks and best practices • Contribute to code quality initiatives including testing, code reviews, documentation, and CI/CD processes • Identify opportunities to automate and improve business workflows and operational efficiency • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to long-term technology strategy • Develop a strong understanding of financial markets, investment processes, and valuation workflows to support business needs • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • 7+ years of professional software development experience • Strong programming experience with C#/.NET and/or Python • Experience building scalable enterprise applications and distributed systems • Proficiency with modern front-end technologies including Angular, React, or Vue • Strong understanding of REST APIs, web services, and full stack application architecture • Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based development environments • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, and software development best practices • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills • Prior experience within financial services, capital markets, asset management, trading technology, or investment platforms is highly preferred • Exposure to valuation systems, front office technology, or financial analytics is a plus
