This dynamic role is a blend of 70% sales & business development plus 30% coordination on execution, making it ideal for those who excel at both building relationships and problem-solving in the field of aftersales service. We’re looking for an all-rounder who can develop our Service Business in the USA. This will require you to collaborate with internal teams, and develop lasting partnerships with operators, OEMs, and key stakeholders across the industry. Key Responsibilities Engage directly with end-users and clients to deliver tailored solutions and presentations while maintaining long-term relationships. Prepare estimates, quotations, and service solutions on traction power substation such as retrofits, spare-part supply, maintenance, repairs, digital solutions etc. Product Expertise: - DC switchgear, high-speed circuit breakers, and electrical panels - Rectifiers, power converters, and voltage limiting devices - Multi-function control protection relays and custom electro-mechanical solutions Develop a strategic business plan to build a robust pipeline, identify opportunities, and achieve annual service sales goals that include sales of retrofits contracts, spare-part supply, maintenance, repairs, digital solutions etc. Model financial business cases to ensure profitability and competitiveness. Lead responses for RFPs/RFIs and stay informed on market trends. Attend exhibitions, trade associations, conferences, and client events to represent the company and educate stakeholders on Service solutions. Oversee and ensure the proper and timely execution of on-site services, retrofits, as well as the spare parts and products delivery. Colaborate with the Field Service technicians Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical experience will also be considered Sales Engineer, Project Manager, or technical sales background with custom electro-mechanical solutions Prior experience in power distribution, switchgear manufacturing, or similar products (3+ years preferred) Familiarity with DC power systems (Low Voltage and Medium Voltage) Minimum requirement: High school diploma or GED combined with industry experience Excellent communication and presentation abilities Leadership and influencing skills Excellent Excel and MS Office Suite (Office 365) proficiency Autonomous, Self-motivated, team-oriented, and adaptable in complex technical environments Ability to analyze technical requirements and create clear, accurate solutions Comfortable working in a collaborative, international team setting Advantageous Experience with databases like Oracle or others Knowledge of public bid processes and custom product sales cycles Domestic travel: up to 50% Occasional international travel for internal meetings, conferences, and trainings Mandatory 2-3 week onboarding at the company’s European headquarters We foster flat hierarchies and direct communication, enabling quick decisions and strong collaboration across all levels.
