Work shoulder-to-shoulder with production to detect issues early, verify standards, and implement corrective actions that prevent repeat defects. How you’ll make an impact • Quality oversight: Execute visual and dimensional checks per SOPs on plastic packaging and printed graphics. • Metrology: Utilize calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators to confirm critical measurements. • Documentation: Record findings thoroughly; track nonconformances; document and follow through on corrective actions. • Line readiness: Review the production schedule and confirm correct materials before and during runs. • Culture of safety & compliance: Enforce Quality, Safety, Food Safety, and Environmental standards; promptly report equipment and process concerns to your supervisor. • Housekeeping & teamwork: Keep your area tidy and audit-ready; support associates in safe, efficient operations. • Standards you’ll uphold: Company policies, OSHA/FSSC, GMP, HACCP, FSQA; environmental compliance, energy conservation, and recycling; safety practices including PPE, LOTO, emergency preparedness, and machine guarding. • Adaptability: Jump in where needed—other duties as assigned. Responsibilities: • Ensure exceptional customer services is provided to all Sazerac House visitors. Create a welcoming atmosphere to all visitors. Be attentive and available to assist visitors.
