Develops and manages strategic sales activities and relationships with heavy-duty truck and off-highway clients, including developing product strategies, managing customer relationships, and driving sales growth. | Requires 7-10 years of technical sales experience in heavy-duty or off-highway markets, with knowledge of industry standards like TS-16949 and ISO-14001, and strong communication and computer skills. | Purpose of this Job: This position is responsible for the development and ongoing management of the commercial and strategic activities for Sanden’s North American Heavy Duty truck and Off-Highway client base. This job involves the development of the product strategy to meet the company’s Execution and Mid-Term plan targets. The candidate will also be responsible for generating sales growth through strategies implemented and enhanced to align with market trends. Principle Duties/Essential Functions: • Acts as the focal point of communication between Sanden and our Heavy Duty Truck and Off-Highway and Agriculture customers, including the Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Service and Warranty functions • Builds mutually beneficial relationships with key customer personnel • Works closely with Sanden’s Sales Engineering and Design Engineering functions to develop the technical strategies and initiatives needed to promote current products and develop new products to meet the needs of our Heavy Duty Truck and Off-Highway customers • Represents Sanden at trade shows, customer and dealer events, and industry conferences • Coordinates marketing plan and creates marketing material as needed to realize sales goals • Generates sales leads and translates these leads into new business opportunities Other Tasks/Responsibilities: • Develops, maintains, and executes a monthly, yearly, and long-range (5+ years) business plan and sales forecast for the North American Heavy Duty Truck and Off-Highway market based on both macroeconomic and industry-specific factors • Assists customer service group to resolve customer concerns • Assists divisional management in developing divisional budget and sales projections Competencies: • Corporate • Quality • Safety • Department • Job Specific • Personal Goals Education: • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering (preferred); MBA highly desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience: • 7-10 years’ experience in Technical Sales/Account Management, with a proven track record of driving measurable and meaningful business results • Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously required • Ability to successfully interact with a wide range of customer and dealership personnel • Must be knowledgeable of TS-16949 and ISO-14001 procedures • Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills • Must have strong computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point Licenses or Certifications: • N/A Physical Demands: • Ability to work effectively under pressure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): • PPE may be required based on specific projects Work Environment/Hours: • Primary work area is located in an office setting • Must work normal office hours plus provide support on evenings and weekend (as needed) • May participate in phone or video calls during or after hours Primary Work Location: • Plymouth, MI Travel Requirements: • Up to 50%, both domestically and internationally
Manage import/export compliance, coordinate with departments, handle documentation and transactions, ensure regulatory adherence, and resolve shipping issues. | Bachelor’s degree in International Trade or related field or 5+ years trade compliance experience, import/export compliance certification, knowledge of trade regulations, and strong communication and organizational skills. | Purpose of this Job: The Import-Export Specialist will support Sanden International and its affiliates with strategic and daily export and import compliance, anti-corruption programs, and related issues. These activities include matters relating to U.S. Trade Regulations, such as, but not limited to, the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR), the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Regulations. This role involves interacting with various business functions such as Warehousing, Logistics, sourcing and third party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure smooth and efficient FTZ operations. Principle Duties/Essential Functions: · Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to U.S. trade regulations (EAR, ITAR, FTR, OFAC, FCPA, CBP). · Interdepartmental Coordination: Work with Compliance Teams, Program Management, Contracts, Procurement, and Supply Chain. · Documentation: Draft and update import/export/anti-corruption procedures, forms, and templates. · Transaction Management: Oversee all aspects of import and export transactions. · Communication: Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and customers. · Regulatory Updates: Stay informed about changes in import and export laws. · Financial Processing: Calculate and process duties, taxes, and charges. · Issue Resolution: Address cargo transportation issues and commercial discrepancies. · Auditing: Conduct regular audits of shipping and receiving documentation. Qualifications: · Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Trade or related field, or 5+ years of trade compliance experience. · Certifications: Import/export compliance certification. · Knowledge: Familiarity with Incoterms, HTS codes, tariffs, and customs regulations. · Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong organizational skills, and effective communication. · Attributes: Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and great interpersonal skills
