Creates and conducts technical training programs. Determines training objectives. Writes training programs, including outline, text, handouts, and tests, and designs laboratory exercises. Lectures on the safety, installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of software, machinery, and equipment. Administers written and practical exams and writes performance reports to evaluate trainees' performance. Maintains records of training activities and employee progress and monitors effectiveness of programs. Role and Responsibilities • Responsible for purchase, design, delivery, and implementation of various training programs for employees such as safety, communications, management, on-thejob programs, and employee orientation. • The development and coordination of technical training across Samsung Electronics, in collaboration with the HR Business Partner team. • Design and develop learning experiences to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and appealing manner. • Lectures on the safety, installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of software, machinery, and equipment. • Maintain and update training records and employee progress. • Identify training gaps and effectively implement improvements. • Writes training programs, including outline, text, handouts, and tests, and designs laboratory exercises as needed. • Conducting needs analysis with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to define the most pressing development needs and building impactful solutions. • Serve as the project manager for technical training experiences across SEHA. • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and develop strategies that lead to improved results. • Manage vendor relationships to ensure projects meet specified requirements and are completed in a timely manner. • Be an influential idea partner in the development of the long-term vision and strategic direction for employee development. • Research emerging learning strategies, especially as they relate to a diverse employee population. • Administers written and practical exams and writes performance reports to evaluate trainees' performance. • All other duties as assigned. #LI-ONSITE Skills and Qualifications • Education: Associate's degree OR 6+ years of training and development experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. • Experience: 5+ years of related experience, including learning development creation and delivery. 3+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably manufacturing assembly line. Experience with e-learning platforms preferred. • Knowledge: Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques • Skills: Excellent PC software skills, including MS office suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word). Design engaging ways to train a diverse production work force. Creativity and willingness to try new things. Strong classroom facilitation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Competence in presenting materials to an audience. Manage and implement EHS programs, compliance and risk assessments, safety trainings, and incident investigations at a manufacturing facility. | Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety or related field, 2-4 years experience, knowledge of OSHA and EHS policies, technical writing and interpersonal skills. | Position Summary The EHS Specialist is responsible for working with facility management to effectively direct, implement, monitor, and manage key environmental, health and safety issues inside and outside of the manufacturing facility. Areas of focus will be on compliance management, environmental, health, and safety planning and monitoring. Role and Responsibilities This position is 100% on-site and may be required to work occasional off-shift schedule and/or weekends depending on business needs. 1. Support the development, management, and implementation of EHS Programs, Policies and Procedures, Compliance/Risk assessment programs, and Safety trainings. 2. Manage/maintain Safety equipment, safe working practices; Develop Job Hazard Analysis (JHA). 3. Administrate and maintain compliance programs such as LOTO, Hazard Communication, EAP, Hearing Conservation, Hot Work, Respiratory Protection, BBP, Crane Inspection, SPCC, SWPP , ISO 14001, ISO 45000 etc. 4. Evaluate PPE ensuring proper use and maintenance of PPE. 5. Investigation of all on site incidents and property damage under the direction of the EHS Manager. Follow-up should be done to minimize future exposure and hazard elimination. 6. Identify existing or potential health & physical hazards, determine corrective measures and follow up to ensure the measures have been implemented. 7.
